He said that because your handles looks 3D, as if you saw them from above, and the blade is perfect 2D.
with the transforming tool change your rectangle

and add the 3D thing so it isn't flat ! ^^

these are actually some very nice swords, though you used alot and very intense grediant all all of them,
some of them seems to turned out pretty good, especially that "Ninja dual swords", i love that one, friend...
i think i may need something like that sometime in the future too, and perhaps, you can be my father smithgod LOL XD,
j/k, but yeah very nice swords concepts/arts here, i'd say you did a pretty good job on this :)

Well before I say anything I would Like to say Thanks Too Much, Anyway It's Good to know that there's someone that he likes my work :) And Those Dual Blades, I Made them befoere I Know All These Gradient Stuff ! It looks tht You like the simple coloring weapons ! But for me I Like these Extrem Coloring And Shape

Well, the design is not necessarily original, since its kinda traced:


But the tracing is acceptable, since it was a reference picture, from an order in the Bladerunner's weapon shop. But I don't know since he made that order out of his own accord, without even being a member.

Okay okay ! Busted ! Well To Be honest when I First Started I was Always trace ! But as soon as I Get the basics I start To Make My Own design ! My very first sword with out tracing Was That : Epic Sword : Everything there is My own design Expect ninja dual blades and Lightning Sword (I Just too The Out shape)

If you are going to trace a weapon, but add your own flair, at least put the reference picture with it.

Here you can see that I've added a new sword which is a claymore, Not that good It's Made for pandara !

I like the overall concept of some of your weapons, but your color schemes are overused and in many cases god awful.
You should try other options when you do the linear colors rather than having several nodes. It isn't a very good look and it would actually look a lot cleaner if you did the standard linear.

So The coloring aGain ! Well What I Use is a pallet I've made It containes Some colors with a lot of linears it's like (dark.light.dark,light,dark..) and it reapet it self about 12 times or so ! With diffrent colors like white,black and gold how I Did with golden axe ! I really don't any idea how to do the coloring right ! Any help ?
