I'm a vivid daydreamer, I love coming up with ideas and fun stuff though I have difficulty putting them down on paper so I simply stash them away for later use, if I ever get around to it. The next thing I knew I too many concepts and ideas, and I don't have the time nor the skills to put them into a presentable fashion. So you know what? I'll simply dump them here so I can get some load off my back and at the same time share them to you guys without having to draw badly/animate scribbles/write an error-filled derp-story. To be honest I was planning on putting up a shop or at least give them away but that wouldn't be a good idea, would it?

lities: Large gauntlets connected to an electric generator on his back, assorted grenades, explosion-proof flak jacket, sound-cancelling helmet, excellent CQC skills
Weaknesses: Clunky and slow, grenades can be deflected, completely deaf to outside sounds when helmet is active, inexperienced with traditional 'timed' grenades

Story: Orphan happily-adopted to a family of soldiers, went into battle but after two weeks the war was called over. Disappointed that he didn't experience much action, his stepfather suggested him to join the RHG, his stepsister is there too![/spoiler]

s and how cool it would be to have a giant mech/golem that is formidable yet moves slowly. The idea snowballed into this 'entry'.

Story: A sentient-enough golem created out of rock, ice, steel and other materials, it was designed to take on the swordsman-and-speedster-infested metagame. It frequently spends time resting or traveling between resting spots. It has fearsome strength and power, if given the time and can bulldoze a small hill on you. While it is resting, it is recovering from battles. Its compression strength is so strong it can create smaller golems which assist in battle and guards it when it is resting.

The Metagolem will move in a cumbersome manner, however, given enough time in action, it will hit harder and somehow faster as it nears its full strength, which can move mountains.

Tier 1
  • Just starting at 30% Strength and 25% Speed
  • Acts very defensive and tries keeping the opponent distant, hopefully long enough to reach Tier 2
  • Can do simple attacks like punching, stomping and slamming itself down

Tier 2
  • 50% Strength and 50% Speed
  • Comes after 30 seconds of constant activity in Tier-1
  • Can use seismic attacks such as an earthquake that would knock foes off-balance.
  • Can perform 'Crush Grip: Basic', an attack that would (obviously) crush something with immense power.

Tier 3
  • 80% Strength and 75% Speed
  • Comes after 60 seconds after Tier-2
  • Can perform 'Crush Grip: Advanced', a much faster variant that is done with one hand.
  • Can create smaller golems by compressing large amounts of material hard enough

Tier 4
  • 110% Strength and 100% Speed
  • 2 minutes after Tier-3
  • Can (sloppily) shoot out energy beams
  • Creates golems from sheer 'willpower'
  • Plays very aggressively
  • Remember the God-Warriors from Nausicaa? Yeah...
  • Will bury you under a mountain of hate
  • All hope is lost

Tier-5
  • 220% Strength and 300% Speed
  • Can be toggled anytime in Tier-4
  • Can shoot more powerful and precise energy beams quickly
  • Capable of large-scale terrain manipulation
  • Lasts 10 seconds
  • Resets back into Tier-0 afterwards.

  • Unbelievable strength and momentum by late-game
  • Intimidating size and immense bulk
  • Despite its brute force, it is capable of intelligence and reason
  • Because it is inhuman, it cannot be affected by mental and nerve-affecting abilities like hypnosis and illusions
  • Excellent crowd-control capabilities through earthquakes and landscape-shaping


Weaknesses
  • Inefficient and relies on stalling early-game
  • Collateral damage rivals that of an average Godzilla rampage
  • Reliant on environment for full effect
  • Has difficulty slowing down when at Tier 3-4
  • Intelligent but not intuitive, can be deceived.
  • Airborne opponents are immune to ground-attacks
  • Energy supply, although vast, is finite and can be counter-stalled back into Tier 0.
  • Not indestructible, enough overall damage with force a retreat.
  • Destroy the Core: Metagolem has four "cores" powering it, three on its chest and one on its face. Destroying one will reduce its maximum capacity by one tier and destroying all of them would permanently shut down the golem.

Nickname: Fedora Man
Age: 57
Primary Ability: True Fedora - His fedora, a shining beacon of his long-gone era, gives him great morale. It also exerts a much greater effect to nearby people.

Anyone within viewing range of the fedora, their vision turns to sepia and the world acts a bit...different but they don't realize that it's out of place.

The effect ends when he leaves the room or any similar range.[/spoiler]Secondary Abilities:
  • Mafioso Expertise - His time in the mafia has brought him a great deal of experience in fighting, street smarts and culture.
  • Slick and Shady - He is damn stylish, first impressions are very favorable and people aren't initially inclined to fight him.

Items and Equipment:
  • Tommy Gun - He has his spiffy murder-gun from back in the day, wearing his fedora gives it unlimited ammo.
  • 357 Magnum - He also has his pistol as a backup weapon, wearing his fedora gives it increased accuracy.
  • Body Armor - He's wearing a bulletproof vest underneath that expensive suit of his, it's reinforced with metal so it hampers his movement slightly.

Weaknesses:
  • Watch the Hat! - Greatly damaging his fedora causes the side effects to end and he gets very upset.
  • Wanted Man - Police, and other gladiators, are after him for his past actions and bounty.
  • Oranges - Bad things happen, period.

Personality: Much like any grizzled veteran from his time, he's jaded at the world and prideful of himself. He dislikes what the current society has done to fedoras, especially the people that exacerbate the problem. He's very fond of internal monologues and is often found lost in thought. Outside of combat situations, it may take a noticeable moment before he registers his surroundings. He doesn't like oranges.

Appearance: He's an old man with an athletic physique despite his age. His hair is gray, with some white streaks and his eyes are beautifully blue. His handsome face has the 5 o' Clock Shadow which gives an impression of a lifetime of experiences. His attire is a faded pinstripe suit which, along with a pair of old shoes and a pair of outdated sunglasses, gives him an appealing vintage look.

History:

Woman; were once the best criminal duo since Bonnie and Clyde. They were the Don's final solution to problems and they have walked away from circumstances that would break normal people. It was an exciting life but all good things came to an end one day and they retired into hiding. He was content with simply letting the days pass by into his 50's, recognizing that his time is over.

Years pass, and the modern age has somehow picked up the fedora craze again. It seems like a wonderful opportunity for the two to make a comeback but it all goes wrong. They've learned what a fedora means now and they decided to continue living sedentary lifestyles. It becomes worse one night, when a hipster with an orange scarf broke into the house and murdered Trilby Woman just to steal her hat before running away.

"Enough is enough," Fedora Man declared, "I'm going to show these fools what a fedora really stands for!"

Of course, engaging in a one-man guerilla warfare wasn't the brightest of decisions. Murdering fat slobs left and right has earned him a hefty bounty and a free registration-by-proxy into the RHG. He didn't mind, it's a better way to die that turning into a vegetable. And it looks like people people were starting to listen, at least out of fear.

BY and RHG. It's an animation I'm going to make far in the future so there's that but in the meantime here are some match-ups I have planned.
Ruby Rose vs Oryza (Guz)
Both of them have fancy scythes and can move at blinding speeds. It turns out Oryza has super-speed, which makes Fordz a moot point.


Weiss Schnee vs King Loxias (TrulyEpic)
Magic swords, one is western (rapier) and the other is eastern (katana). They are fond of showing runes and magic glyphs.


Blake Belladonna vs Ada (Cozen)
Bound swords and fond of moving around, their fighting style is very quick and agile. Both of them have some sort of Flash Step ability.


Yang Xiao Long vs Oxob (oxob3000)
They both are punch-centric brawlers with devastating attacks, except one's burning fire and the other is shocking lightning. (Meanwhile with JanRavnik...)


Penny Polendina vs Antares (Ruke)
Both of them have floating swords, I think that's enough.


Emerald Sustrai vs oreo (oreo)
No basis

Cinder Fall vs _____ (Undecided)
There are four candidates:
- AAlbusUUmbra (pre-nerf)
- Murph Sr. (TheMurph)
- Triton (Drone)
- Jade (Camila) and Chuck (Endo)

Team OPTR - Operator (Color can either be black or brown, depending on your special forces of choice)

Current Draft: (a lot of missing stuff)
Sterling Opal - Leader, Tactician (Sterling refers to the Sterling assault rifle and Sterling Silver, Opal refers to a gem and an IFV[/SIZE])
Weapons: M4 assault rifle with Dust-based grenade launcher, satchel charges
Semblance: Sureshot - It works like VATS from Fallout 4, it strains his eyes with prolonged use
Other items: Flares, Laser Designator, colored smoke grenades


Firtina Plamya - Long-Range Fire Support (Firtina refers to the T-155 self-propelled howitzer, Plamya refers to the AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher and is Russian for "flame")
Weapons: AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher, AA-12/VEP-R with explosive rounds
Semblance: Undecided
Other items: Binoculars, (to be decided)


Tommie Mangusta (Tommie refers to the famous Tommy Gun, Mangusta refers to the A129 attack helicopter and is Italian for "Mongoose")
Weapons: MP7, a pair of trench knives with bladed knuckle guards
Semblance: Trance (She ignores all pain and focuses her violent temper into a frenzy)
Other items: Rappelling equipment


Ratel Browning - Close-Range Fire Support, Anti-Personnel (Ratel refers to the Ratel IFV and is Afrikaans for "badger", Browning refers to the a machine gun and its manufacturer: John Browning)
Weapons: M2 .50 cal heavy machine gun with explosive rounds
Semblance: Bulwark Stance (Holds his position and cannot be staggered, however he's not invincible while using it.)

Common Equipment:
-Assorted Dust grenades
-Handheld radios


Team Story: They hail from Garrison, an unaffiliated academy outside the four kingdoms. However, political strife, dust accidents and White Fang raids on supply caravans have allowed a Grimm breach. The squad heads for Atlas looking for greener pastures because they'd rather not sit by and witness the fall of their home.

Lusa is a faunus based off a Tazmanian Devil (explains her semblance).
Ratel is a faunus based off a Honey Badger and has a large white stripe along his hair (explains his semblance).
Lusa is Rooikat's adopted sibling
Isabel is the only long-range specialist in her family.

om FluidAnims. When the merge happened the city was in ruins and either everybody moved to Stickpage or disappeared off the face of the earth, unfortunately for him, he chose the latter out of force. He was lost and wandering in a daze, unable to find his way to Stickpage, or any community, he was forced to die alone on the meaningless plains of nowhere...or so he thought. On the brink of unconsciousness he saw the outlines of a mysterious castle in the mist, little did he know it was the infamous castle of Count Dracula. After passing out of exhaustion he woke up to a frightening greeting by a couple of skeletons.

Initially he was scared, living in corners and barely escaping death on numerous calls, but over the course of a year he began settling down. Well, like you said, that thread wasn't for bouncing characters around until they stick; some sort of beta testing thread that also functions as general storage of ideas.

This thread is more of the alpha testing stage, and its main purpose seems to be to store ideas and expand on them. More of a closed alpha test than open beta testing.

RWBY V RHG!!!! im gonna w8 for that!!! :D
and Penny vs Antares... that'll be extremely hardcore to animate...if i ever do that, ill quit after 5 mins...

and yep!!! my floating swords was inspired of penny!!!;) GL with this!
i also like drawing ideas on papers and I also stash them. for now, I already consumed 6 notebooks full of sketches :P
for my opinion, our brain is becoming full of creativity, that's why we draw out some of them to the papers to make more room/space for more ideas....

Your writing is a bit hard to point out exactly what you can do to improve, mang. You know what you're doing when it comes to pulling a story together, but lots of the descriptions and sentences seem clumsy in places, and parts that seem dramatic have their impact taken away because of it. Sometimes, your descriptions of stuff that's going on seem to be the same way.

Maybe try this. It kind of looks like you're going through dramatic moments too fast, and not giving them any more "screen time" than regular actions. If there's something that you want to be important, describe it more in-depth than other things so that it has a lasting impact on the reader. It may also help to add descriptions to the movements of people as well.

I see a lot of potential in your writing. Keep working to get better and I can see you getting really ​good :)

I appreciate the CnC though I never expected someone would comment on it. The thing with details is that, well, I have good mental imagery that I fail to translate into writing. When I get to a showy scene, I dig through my vocabulary only to start thinking "WTF!? How do I portray detail?" So I stumble trying to figure out which words to use and such. I also have a tendency to reuse adjectives and adverbs when describing certain actions like 'resounding gunshot'
