okai heres the thing...i keep c-in all these "look here for trial" or "this is the flash trial" but whenever i go to the link i always get "trials not available" so i am asking that any1 whos knows for sure that there link will work and that trial will be available


i want a trial for flash preferably an easy to use yet capable program i will be looking at some to buy in the future

This is a good site. Has the download for the whole thing or a 30 day trial (flash 8). The nice thing is, you dont need to become a member with adobe to get it. (it worked for me)

Flash is hard to use and learn but it is a very powerful program with virtually endless possibilities. If you're looking for an easy program, flash is not it, get the flash trail [Nukems link, get Flash 8, people consider it better than CS3 even though its an older version] and if you like it either buy it or pirate it [pirating is illegal however, so I suggest buying it]. If you don't like it or think its to hard, I suggest trying easytoon, its free and a good way to get into animating. YOU SHOULD NOT GET INTO PIVOT Pivot does 80-90% of the work for you and it should not be considered professional animating. It is a noob program that you may never get out of. Its best to never get into it in the first place.

but now i must admit a feel as a newb for the fact that i have made a few anims but i cant figure out how to post them :( pls help

once you finish your animation, Press CRTL+ENTER to make a swf version of it. Now go to antiup.com and host the swf file there. Then make a thread in the flash section and post the link there you got from antiup there. They will give you criticism of it, so don't be upset when they say its crap, we nitpick everything. But it makes you better if you listen.

i go to antiup.com and its a freeware site full of anti virus ads

and when i press crtl+enter it just does a full screen loop... so how i make it a swf file??? pls i wanna get it up ASAP and get better

It's antiup.net. Not every website ends in ".com".

And ctrl+enter makes an SWF as well as lets you preview your Flash animation. That's why you're seeing a "full screen loop". The SWF file should be in the same folder as your Flash document is. Or you could just go to File > Export > Export Movie. SWF is the default setting so all you need to do is name it whatever you want and hit Save.

If you still don't get it, then you're out of luck.

It created the swf file when it did that, and what you're viewing in that window is what it will look like, you can exit that window. and where you aved your fla file is where your swf file will be, it will have the same name but the .fla extension will be .swf and the red file icon will be silver.
