I have an idea, nothing more ATM. It's really good, and I want some people to tell me what they think of the story. I have to get used to flash because I came from pivot (I actively post on Droidz.org forums) and easytoon and I have to get better at animation in general but when I'm good enough expect to see the most epic animation since the Castle Series! I know thats a bold statement but as i said I can't do it yet because I'm not good enough yet.
It's a combination of full-bodies and stick-figures. The main character is anime styled woman, every one else is a stick figure. Why? because it will be easier to animate and I want you to feel closer to the main character. How would making the main character a full-body make you feel emotionally closer to her, well lets explore that, shall we.
If a stick figure cuts off another stick figures head, would parents of young children close the animation of the violence? I think its about 50/50 they wouldn't.
If a more realistic animation were being played for a small child of a person being decapitated, the parents would probably turn it off more time than the stick figure animation. Why? Because Stick figures, though they're humanoid, don't resemble humans enough for survival instincts to kick in. So, the more a cartoom looks real, them more our brain register that is human, the more emotional you get about it.
Thats my theory anyway. Wow, kind of went off track there! Anyway, the woman's name is Cynthia Robins. Shes the head of he division of guards in the massive research facility called the Citadel. Regency Genetics Corp has its top scientists working on an upgrade to humanity, a completely original creature made from steam-cells called the spine worm. It's a symbiotic organism base on several parasitic insects such as the tick and tapeworm. It attaches its self along the spine in the back. Through the nervous system it has complete access to the entire human body, including the brain. Her friend, one of the top scientist in his field, calls you to his personal laboratory. There he tells you he's been trapped by the corporation, because he found something wrong with the Spine Worm. He tipped the military off about it and said he would give a modified version of it that did not have the same problem, because it was their only chance against the Parasite. He says to her that he is also a psychologist, and that he stunted the growth of the worm to see the effects on the mind. He finds that the worms, having access to human intelligence, and through the invasive nature of the creatures its based on, they where going to use their total control over the human body to mutate us and create monsters of mass destruction by turning the women into incubators of their vile creations. Then men would tun into armored slaves by coving them with an exoskeleton. He says all the people with the worms on them are doomed, and that he couldn't send the specs for his version because he has been disconnected from the Internet. He has only one of the true Symbiots and he asks you to put it on, saying you can escape the Citadel and save humanity. She puts the creature on her back, then the doctor asks you to shoot him, for he does not want to become one of the Parasite. You do, then on your guard radio you here reports of people going mad from the other guards. She cocks her pistol and thinks "Thank god I have combat training"
Thats all I'm revealing right now but what do you guys think?
