Time to stretch your legs, in a sense. In this Animation Exercise we are going to challenge your knowledge of the animation principle of squash and stretch.

Examples and References.

Apply these principles into your stick figure / full body movement, lets see what you can do!

Pretty much the stick figure is squashed when its building momentum and stretched when the momentum is released. Potential and Kinetic Energy, well that's how I see it.

Potential and Kinetic energy is a very good way of looking at it Pox, at least for those people who have a good background knowledge of physics.

I am not sure if I should post it here but whatever :I

http://www.fileize.com/view/18f706c6-8a8/

4 Short animations made almost in 2 hours...

1st clip: Punch with not so good looking strenching on Black guy
2nd clip: Vertical ball falling (looked at Examples and References links)
3rd clip: This ended up good right? No? OK :(
4th clip: Did what Pox said about Potential and Kinetic Energy (but failed it a bit)

Couldn't put more time in it cause I have one more week until finals.... sooo yeah... (also working on sth else)

Nice Direwolf, I really like the 2nd one and the wall. Squash and stretch with is really good technique for over exaggerated moves, in the stick world for me.

http://www.fileize.com/view/5da3bede-65d/ Made a ball bounce, a dash effect, a cannon shooting, and a guy falling down then running and jumping.
