Need help with 17. I see that the south and west are mixed up on the compass, but other then that I'm completely lost.

This paragraph is not wrong in any way. Nothing is wrong with grammar or punctuation, but it strays apart from most paragraphs though. If you try to find out what it is that it's missing, you might find it. Don't stop looking... it might jump out at you at any instant. History has shown many paragraphs such as this. In fact, a [SIZE="4"]solitary individual[/SIZE] has thought up a book, consisting only of paragraphs similar to this. This claim sounds mind-boggling, but it's straight fact. Amazing.

Wow I'm dumb. I even saw that book before, but I never thought it could have been the other answer.

EDIT: I'm now stuck on 27. I have tried lat and long, but it just puts me in either china or the kara sea and neither one is the answer.

Try different combinations of the degrees with the minutes/seconds, but keep the minutes/seconds together. Also, try a minus sign on the longitude.

Then think of structures at the location.

Made it to 30, but I'm stuck. I think that the numbers are like measurements to like a box, because X sometimes means the word 'by', and it says don't use a calculator. However I don't notice a pattern in there at all.

Coordinates. Plot them. Excel would be good probably.
