View Profile What was really scary about this series was back then before anyone was doing it, the guy really tried to sell his series by adding Alternate Reality to the mythos instead of just posting his videos. He would make alternate accounts, let them be "hacked" by supernatural forces, alledgedly post videos he himself did not, formulate a wiki and blog to go with his video postings. The man knew how to tell a story, and how to gauge interest and yank people on something so unknowable and yet to know it would spell doom for all those involved in-universe.
The only other person to have been doing this at the time was Ben Drowned, which in itself was a timeless classic.

I love the shots where slendy is there, but you don't notice him until later or you're very aware.

View Profile I actually tried forcing myself to watch some of the videos. But apparently, I got impatient since it got to the point where I got bored into watching these. I did come along some scary jumpscares, though.

View Profile Within the last few months, there's this one person on Youtube going around posting a riddle on all the channels like MarbleHornets that are involved with Slenderman... I looked at his profile, but it looks like he's either sharing an account with someone, or he's hacked their account and they just haven't noticed yet. He always leaves a signature so you know it's him, though.
14Mn4M3l3Ss... Not sure who he is, but it seems like he's trying to pull together all the Youtube people doing this Slenderman thing for something big. Props for him if he pulls it off. It'd be interesting to see what he comes up with.
