While Im sure that there are some families with multiple members playing this game, I dont see how any two members could both get into the top 100 while sharing one computer, which is what I suggested the IP ban on.

1 Computer =/= 1 IP address

The IP ban will ban ALL computers within the household... IP is the network (I believe).

Look at it this way, there are many children that plays this game (from game sites like Armor Games). Usually, he/she has a sibling that also plays the game too with him/her. Maybe they share the same computer?

This isn't meant to be for only competitive people only. Let the casual players have fun too.

IP is the network, so it will ban all computers using that Internet Provider address. So unless you're one of those eccentric rich families with several IPs, only 1 account for a whole family :O

P.s. thought of a way to get around IP bans: Proxies

Like I said, I only wanted an IP ban on multiple accounts in the top 100. I did not mean to sound selfish, and am sorry if I did. I did not really know how IPs worked lol.

P.S. I thought that facebook and stick empires.com were the only places to play this game.

Hi jerrytt, do you know why people that have high rating created alts? At high rating, there are less players, and people have to wait very long,possibly more than five minutes,just for a match. That's why people like wyzdm have alts.
Also, you mentioned that wyzdm has five accounts, I am not sure about that, but I know that there are players "faking" wyzdm's account
Moreover, some players use alts for order and the other for chaos.

Sometimes Galeforce uses StarcraftZergy, that's all.
And you know what Jerrytt, being a player, we must go up ourselves, not arguing about something, like me, I stay my alts in 1300+, except for the Zenith account. I've been beaten by FalconPunch,Starcraft,Lightning and more continous times which make me stay out of top 100, but I can learn something from them like Narsheh's comments. So, now I'm in 2000+ now . Hope I wont meet Cadmus.

Yeah, but those are already in the 2300+ rank. Imagine if you've lost all those times to people in the 1600s. thats alot of rating lost. And not all of us can take tactics from chaos players, which most dangerous alts seem to be.

High rating? at 1950 we only have to wait a minute at most. And im pretty sure that high level people don't make alts just so that they can play against 1300's

I lost to them continously when they ARE NOT in 2K yet. Stop arguing , and PLAY NOW.

@Jerrytt: Get up to 2k1 or 2k2, u gonna know how it feels to wait 200~400 secs for a match

well, I dont think your friends are always have time for you thought...

Alternate account has long been existed since the freaking beginning of BETA stage.
People had disscussed this.
They had already agreed on certain stuff.
You cannot ban IP as other have explained.
Alternative account for me is just a mean to avoid losing the entire work because someone hacked your account...it happend to me twice in 5 online games, changing password is nothing if the hacker is good.

I love going on my Alt account nd pwning ppl without risking my 2002 rating

xD Its even funnier when i meet high lv people, like Corps, and end up dropping their ranking by 50 :p
