Well, I've just finished mine.

At year 10, we only have four subjects (Maths, English, Science and History/Geography).

I did English on Friday, and that was damn easy, because I kick ass at eengrish, yesterday we did Maths (also pretty easy, I have a good teacher this year) and History (TERRIBLE, but I'm sure I passed).

Today we did science, and it was pretty easy I guess.

However, because the we were in classrooms for the history exam (the year 12's were ocvcupying the hall that we used for all the other exams) we only had one teacher who didn't really know what she was doing (instead of a frickin' legion of them, with about three who DO know what they're doing).

As such, when the exam started, she told us that we weren't allowed to use the graphics calculators that our science teacher (who, by the way is also an idiot, so we assumed at the time that it was his bad) had told us we could use.

Half the class (myself included) had only brought the graphics calculators because they kick ass (the TI-Nspire), and had had to do the exam without a calculator, which basically meant a quarter of the questions were incompletely answered and we lose about fifteen minutes of time to working out the answers.

Anyway, the exam went for two periods (45 minutes each), and when the bell went for the second period our science teacher came in and took over. When the exam was over, and he was collecting the exams, everyone started complaining about how they couldn't finish it because they didn't have calculators because he told them they could use graphics calculators but they couldn't.

At this point he told us that we were, in fact allowed to use graphics calculators.

In the end this meant I probably lost a lot of marks, so instead of getting the 90% I would have gotten, I'll probably only get 60%. ****ing history teacher trying to make science at us, DIE IN A FIRE

Afterwards we went and complained to the coordinators and they were like 'wtf' and they said they would look into it.

They'll more then likely either up our grades or let us do a re-test. Because if they don't I'LL KILL THEM ALL WITH FIAR.

Silly Australians and your inferior calendars.

Just finished end of the year finals, so I'm out for summer. The thing with the calculators happened to a few of my friends, too.

You, with end of year in the middle of the year, are calling my calendar inferior?

Well you could have just made the thread Exams instead of Mid-Year Exams considering the rest of the normal world has end of the year exams at about the same time.
