I know what alot of you may be thinking; "oh, look at this guy... he made the elevator collab on FluidAnims and let it die like all of the rest" -Well, that's okay... i deserved that.
So, now that you've judged me and made me shameful and regretful about my actions, hear me out.
Here is your opportunity to participate in the NEW AND IMPROVED ELEVATOR COLLAB! It's a basic collab idea, but a chance for alot of creativity and ideas!
So here's the deal, The elevator collab was impossible to compile, with more than 100 participants participating, the flash filesize was insanely HUGE and my computer just couldn't handle it much longer, so i left it to tsang_fold who also found problems while compiling... With this being said, all of the parts/files are gone... you'll need to make new ones, but this is okay because you have improved since may of 2012. right?
PLOT:
So, it's pretty self explanatory, you must come up with a clever, cute, brilliant, funny, crazy, chaotic, and etc. idea, and animate this on your own floor (keep in mind the canvas size). Throughout the collab, each animation will be it's own floor. At the beginning of the collab, the elevator will be completely full of stickfigures (yours) and by the end, it will be empty as we progress to each floor. In each floor, you are NOT limited to your background or where it takes place, this can be anywhere or anything (heaven or hell, a park, the sky, the water, space, my pants, ANYWHERE!) There are endless possibilities and you aren't limited to a certain background.

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ANIMATE TO A CERTAIN SKILL LEVEL TO BE ACCEPTED (Intermediate +)
RULES(IMPORTANT)
FLASH 8 ONLY, (I do NOT have time to track down someone who has a copy of CS5.5 to convert to CS4 to conver to CS3 and so on.)
NO IMAGES (Quit being lazy and just draw out your backgrounds, images make the filesize larger than it needs to be.)
DO NOT ALTER THE FRAME SIZE OR FRAME RATE (The frame size and rate needs to stay the same as the original template that i have provided - 950x300 @ 24fps)
RENAME YOUR SYMBOLS (when transferring each part into one file, it's very difficult when it's trying to overwrite the original "Symbol 1", so please FOR THE LOVE OF COTTON rename your symbols. Ex: Travis_FX1. THEN PUT THEM IN A FOLDER WITH YOUR NAME (if you create multiple parts, your folders should be named with a number, ex: Travis1 & Travis2))
VCAM? NO! (Don't even think about it!)
SOUNDS ARE RECOMMENDED, NOT REQUIRED.
INCLUDE YOUR NAME IN THE ANIMATION. (There will be a specified place to include your name, DON'T FORGET OR I'LL KILL YOU.)
ADDITIONAL RULES (ALSO IMPORTANT)
BACKGROUNDS ARE REQUIRED (This means no one colored backgrounds with a single line in them, i expect you to be creative and make something nice and appealing... for those of you who have absolutely no artistic ability whatsoever (very unlikely) i will supply some backgrounds for you to use.... (Backgrounds should also go in your graphic))
KEEP YOUR STICKFIGURE TO SPECIFIED HEIGHT (unless ofcourse your idea calls for bigger or smaller stickfigures)
HAVE A CREATIVE IDEA (In the past, there were endless submissions with only fighting... after a while, it get's friggen old. (i'm not saying fighting isn't allowed, just try not to focus mainly on that subject))
DO NOT HAVE YOUR PART DRAG ON (Long parts are hard to keep interest, boring parts are boring to watch, so please keep your part exciting and fun!)
YOU CAN USE ANY COLOR FOR YOUR STICKFIGURE
YOUR PART MUST BE AT LEAST 5 SECONDS.
Jeez, there are alot of rules... but that's okay, because this way you know that i'm serious. That reminds me, IF YOU'RE A NOOB, YOU CAN NOT JOIN. I WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR PARTS.
