COWBOYS AND ALIENS

Pretty good movie although the title seems bad but the movie is really good especially the effects. Your thoughts?

Sounds extremely stupid. But the effects do look pretty good on the trailer.

The aliens seemed weird for me. If they had the technology to get to Earth from wherever they are, why didn't they simply blast the cowboys away. Instead, they went on with melee. They even had fighters if I recall correctly. It was all destroyed because of one man with a stolen armband that doubles as a high tech gun.

Im so famous, they made a movie about me fighting cowboy bodacious.

Same thought.
I like the movie because of how the climax goes, when the cowboys attacked the aliens' spaceship. Well, I didn't watch it from very first minute. But seeing Jake (Daniel Craig) was kidnapped by an alien for the first time, that was enough for me to follow its plot to the end.
Another thing that I liked from the movie is the OSTs made by Harry Gregson-Williams. After finishing watching it, I opened my laptop and searched its OSTs (which I always do after the end of movies). I can say that I enjoyed the OSTs as well.
Overall, nice movie that could catch my eyes on it. However the ending was a bit sad though, because of Ella's sacrifice to destroy the spaceship.

Yeah, Ella sacrificed herself by bombing the very top of the spaceship with Jake's wristband. I like the soundtracks too especially the first music in the ending credits, I don't know what name is it but I wanted to download that song as MP3 (if you know the name of the music, then you should tell it to me)

I've finally listened to this again after awhile.
I think this is the OST you meant, because this has the most viewers in my opinion (and yeah, the coolest OST). :)

Oh thanks for the link, that's what I'm looking for. I really like that OST and it's the only OST I like in the Cowboys and Aliens film. c:
