It sounds like he is reading a script Konami sent him. Plus, most reviewers haven't given MGS4 such high marks, and IGN is usually very tough.

I haven't played the game, so maybe it is that good, but I honestly think IGN got that one wrong/was paid off. Two 10's in one year after not giving a single one in a decade seems a little fishy.

Wait, water droplets on the screen gets a game a ten? I can think of a bunch of games that have done the exact something. Some racing games have mud come on the screen, in Bioshock your vision blurs when you passthrough water and etc.

I don't get the big deal of this game other than it's old and dates back ti the PS1 era. I never thought I'd see the day when an old guy who looks 70 is in the military and saves the world fighting against endless baddies with weapons. Who would have guessed?

That was out quite a while back.

4 other publications gave it a 100% score also, though two of those are just parts of a single company, and an official Playstation one to boot (Game Informer, Playstation, Playstation UK, and pamepro)

However, my choice is made by EGM, who gave it an A-.

Anyways, yea he was probably paid off but he didn't need to be, the game is insane, yet to get to this amazing ending but from what I have played makes this by far one of the coolest games i've ever played

God Dammit why can't this be on 360.

Metal Gear Solid 3 on the Ps2 was epic.

This game is real good...I dont care if he is paid off.

they are probably so awestruck that theres a game somewhat worth playing on the ps3 that they overrated it.
