I think that Bungie isn't doing a great job with their support for Forge. They should release more physical objects.
I've thought of a few that would be good.
-Track pieces for race gametypes
-Covenant sniper perch from Campaign (With the grav-lift holding up the platform)
-Chains to link objects together
-Sea-saw type object (Like the one from the Halo 2 multiplayer level "Midship")
-A curved surface
-placeable rocks
-more ambient effects, such as lighting and flood spores (Strobes would be great)
-Placeable skulls, or perhaps the ability to use skulls as powerups instead of glowing objects
-Classic powerups (Like the Triangular active Camo)
-Placable Spartan and Elite helmets
-Placable target markers
Post other ideas. Don't post things that would imbalance gameplay or that would be straining on the connections.

Scrap Forge and give us a map-maker.
Far Cry nailed it, why can't Halo :(

They need welding, freezing and 90 degree snapping.
A couple new objects would be nice, but seriously. Forge is kiddy shit. It gives you plenty of toys with no tools. I like it though, since it's better then nothing.

Lol. I mean large boulders, so that there are some free-form shapes in there to mix it up
And about level editing:
They didn't want to do a level editor for a reason. Their idea was for player-to player interaction. Forge is meant to be a place for players to edit maps together, to come up with new ways to play the game. It was a gutsy move. Level editors have never worked well on consoles.
Think of it as less of a map editor and more of a Gmod.

Water placement? I dunno, I don't play Halo 3 that much.

Wow, really?
You're idea is terrible, be gone.

Lol. Gmod?

Actually Lone Wolfs has a sweet idea. Being able to put in like a water fall. I was playing a map that had a water fall made out of those bullet proof blue screens, and it looked bad ass.

Trust me, those tools are the best thing since sliced bread. To be without them is a crime against humanity.
Going from gmod to forge is like going from HD TV to lego pixels.

I agree, those would be nice tools. It would help in placing objects a whole lot.

they should move some of the foundry items into other maps. That would open up whole new opportunities. also they should just add powers like in little big planet, that would be sweet. you could make boulders with tunnels in them that go all around up to balconies and vehicles. Also they should ****ing have pelicans. An air raid of paratroopers on Valhalla would be awesome.

Forge doesn't sound as easy or diverse as Hammer.
