To me, it's basically Rock Band with the addition of Battle of the Bands.

Being released for Wii, 360, Ps3, and Ps2.

Also, the drums look nicer.

IMO: I think it's gonna be better than Rock Band, mainly because since Rock Band was made first, they can take it and add to it what was wanted by consumers to make it their own. Better customization on characters, better drums, customizable songs, hopefully better equipment, etc.

You can change the chords, make up your own drum parts, etc. You can do anything [to and extent of course] except change the lyrics.

Idk. I have mixed feelings about it. I was a little miffed when I heard that they were following in Rock Band's foot steps with the whole drum kit/mic thing. I think that they have the capability of being a little more original. However I can't help but feel a little excited over it because I love Guitar Hero. One of the only downfalls with Rock Band IMO was the notes looked weird on the screen and the Rock Band guitar sucked penis.

How are they supposed to be more original AND add stuff?

Guitar Hero: Big Band Classics. Add a trumpet where you press the keys and blow in it.

No. I didn't mean it like that, but Rock Band had a cool idea to put in drums and a mic, and I think it's kind of cheap that GH is doing the same thing.

Yeah, but it'll pretty much be even if Harmonix sues Red Octane for it.

Red Octane sued Harmonix for using they're guitar style and all that, but the lawsuit failed. Now all I think Harmonix has to do is sue them back for the drums and mic and everything will be even.

Even though Harmonix wasn't the first to have a mic or drumset. Just the first to combine them all.
