Hey guys I need help!
When I import a music to macromedia flash 8, there's an error saying "one or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them" I need help on how to avoid this error and import a music successfully! ;-;

Or don't, since his thread has nothing to do with this problem.

Download the newest version of Quicktime and then try to re-import the files, let me know if that makes a difference.

I have problems like these.

The thing I normally do is to use audacity to make it work again. First, open the music onto audacity by going to file, open and then select your song.

Then once you have opened the music, go to file and click export

once you have got that, chance the file type to "MP3 files" and save, then click "OK"

Now it should work on flash, hope this works!

But, make sure you download the "LAME" audacity plugin with audacity. If not you will not be able to export music.

Is becaise you're trying to open the "lame" extension for audacity, not the program itself. Supoaing that you habe downloaded the program already, you have to open Audacity, not the Lame for audacity. Once that the program is open, go to file, and export it as an mp3. This is where the program will ask you for the "lame" extension (since this is what makes you able to export as an mp3). Then just browse in your computer till you find the lame extension, click it amd then click ok; now yojr misic will be exported as an mp3 and will be able to be imported on flash.

Step 1 : Go here if you don't have Audacity.
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/windows

Step 2 : Get the lame file. Since you already have it, leave it alone.

Step 3 : Do what SSB has just said.

Step 4 : If it requires you to link Audacity to the lame file when exporting to .mp3, that is when you find that file.

Step 5 : ...

Step 6 : Done!

Simple.

that's exactly what Camila just said

make sure you export it at 128 kbps or a lower bitrate, Flash won't import audio above a certain bitrate. I can't remember the exact cutoff point, but just use 128 kbps to play it safe.
