I think that is lag and not an exploit. Are you having this problem while playing against other players? If you are using Internet Explorer, I recommend that you switch to Google Chrome, that might stop the screen from freezing, because the same problem happened to me when I was using Internet Explorer, and it was gone when I switched to Google Chrome.
