Probs with exporting my flash as a GIF

I running at 18 FPS with 132 frames and when i export it as a gif it plays at nearly half speed.

Its a fairly simple animations with no filters or tweens.

Any solutions/suggestions ???

132 Frames if a very large gif. that's why, I thinks.

All gifs automatically go down to 12 fps. It's just the way it works.

Maybe this could help:
File > Publish Settings. Select Gif. Then go to the gif tab.
Make sure these checkboxes are filled:
- Animated
- Loop continuously
- Optimize colours
- Smooth
If these won't help, sorry. Then I don't know.

Maybe try it at Flash 9 if you are able to afford it.

I tried what you said and it was still slow.. but it did manage to black out my text.?
Im using flash CS3 (9?)
the link to the swf is in my sig if you happen to spot any obvious problems.
