...Emo? whoever thinks linkin park is emo needs another look around wikipedia... EMO IS HARDCORE PUNK ROCK AND IS EMOTIONAL.

It is also a fad in which people have long bangs, that usually have highlights in them, tight girl pants, and some clothing that seems to look somewhat punk-ish.

Emo copies traits from punk, drag, and goth somewhat, but all together it makes for a truly uncool fassion sense... in my opinion at least.

rule1: quit making fun of emos, they have a right to express themselves even if they do look kind of gay. 2. calling bands or describing depressing
or emotional things as EMO is not cool, its out of context, its not like the
word gay, you cant just use it on every thing you hate, it doesnt work
that way and makes you(speaking in general here,btw) look retarded.

3. bands like linkin park are nu-metal... and if youre smart you'd notice that ALL rebellious music sings about depression somewhat, but you dont call
slipknot emo do you? Do you call black sabbath emo? Do you call mudvayne emo? No. Why? Because you are not stupid and know how to classify music,
now use that knowledge people and realize that linkin park are NOT emo.

And in fact, PLEASE quit describing ANYTHING as emo from now on because each and everytime you will be WRONG. And I have
proof to back that up.

Yeah, it's so dumb when people call any emotional or sad song emo. There are even some songs about suicide that still aren't emo.
