>Alvin and the Chipmunks purportedly broke up in the mid-90s due to "creative differences." However, they never truly went away. Alvin and Theodore started shooting heroin and making truly horrible music which could be deemed emo-techno (known amongst hipsters as "techmo"). With Simon long gone, they began releasing music under the moniker Burial. Maybe they did this not to sully their reputation as creative and energetic musicians. In any case, their second album Untrue (which is exactly the same album as their eponymous debut, but with a different cover), captures a very dark and bland era in their careers.

>There are rumors that Burial is some British guy, and not actually the Chipmunks, but listen to any track and you will know this is the real deal.

>A very sad and pathetic album, and any proceeds from its sales will likely end up in the veins of two desperate and lonely rodents who need rehab more than they need a record deal.

Don't judge me, I find this song very catchy to sing to.

im actually judging you really hard right now. voltaire is a french enlightenment philosopher not a music artist

songs actually pretty catchy though

The artists's real name is Aurelio Voltaire.
