My feeble attempts to mimic Hyun's style.
Tell me what you think and tell me how I can improve.

Well, first off, it didn't remind of Hyun's style at all.
I suggest you lower your stickman's arms. It looked like they were raise and/or coming out of his head while he fought and it looked really awkward.

Keep at it.

you shouldnt be aiming to copy someone else his style
to be honest the style you have going on right now is pretty good
and best of all its your own
sure you can get inspiration off of him but aiming to copy his style is just not good
and no one succeeded in it anyways (because you also need to copy his mind and heart)
which unfortunately is not going to happen

Uhuh, I was actually hopìng to get some sort of resemblance to Hyun's animations, then work from there.
As for the arms, would you think putting the head on before the arms would work?
