The point is, it may be his computer, harddrive, or maybe Freewebs was ****ing up AT THE TIME.

Or it might be the image itself that's the problem.

I can't even select the image, I just get a blank screen.

Save the image as a different filetype. It may be the filetype.

And if all else fails, try SiteMaker

To the problem: Press the upload button, select the file you just saved, give it a name, doubleclick it(click it twice in less than a second), if everything in this very hard progress went right, you can now see the picture.
