Wrong section, but I'll tell you anyway.

Up there's a navigational bar called the USER CONTROL PANEL. Along that bar is QUICK LINKS. Hover over QUICK LINKS and go down to EDIT SIGNATURE. You can edit your signature there.

For the avatar, when your on the EDIT SIGNATURE page, look to the left for another navigational bar. There will be EDIT AVATAR on it.
