Should it be allowed? In every country other than Iran, Zimbabwe and the US the death penalty is outlawed. Should the US follow suit? I know that a large portion of this forum is from the US, so at least one of you has to have a different opinion than the rest of civilization.

If a serial killer killed 10 people. I think you are allowed to shoot the crap out of him. His fault.

The US is ****ed up, period, so even if we want them too, they're still gonna be killing innocent people accidentally.

I'd say it was okay if our police system was perfect. But as mod said it isn't. That kind of punishment is way too permanent.

The problem about the death penalty is that it's... fatal. If you screw up and kill someone innocent, oh boy. I don't see anything wrong with the judgement of killing somebody who has killed somebody else out of reasons such as greediness is sure worth death penalty in my eyes. It's erasing a life just for the sake of one's own luxury and something where I don't see anything wrong with the death penalty. And of course, shit like genocide or massive mass-murder (Hussein, for example) is something that well deserves such a penalty in my eyes.

However, it's too insecure because a made mistake can't be revised with letting someone go and paying him some money to get his life going again, which is why I am against the death penalty afterall.

They should bring back the Death Penalty when they invent 100% reliable Lie Detectors or a mind-reading judge when being trialled.

How did the death penalty create the World Wars?

Germany wanted a third Reich for a while, so they appointed someone to fulfill these needs and Hitler did as such, thats the cause of world war 2.

I have no ****ing idea about world war one, but probably the same.

Germany had the third Reich as Hitler came to leadership. That's what began the third Reich. And how does that, in any way, relate to the War? Also, WWI was completely different.

Killing wasn't overused. It was used less than ever before in history. People protested against political situations and not the death penalty.
