would looking at a picture of the internet while drawing count as rotoscoping?
ex: Your trying to draw a banana and you get a picture of a real banana off the google and use it to draw(draw not trace) your picture.

You can use the banana as a reference drawing, but you have to be sure to credit the person who made the picture.

This is the case with anything really

its not drawn or made by anyone. Do you still have to credit the person who took the photo?

...no. it's a banana. you don't need to credit someone for using a reference to draw a piece of fruit.

unless you're tracing a video frame-by-frame, it's not rotoscoping.
