Get this, I'm pretty sure that Kato-yuen just announced on the Easytoon-Place that the next beta version of 1.9.9 will introduce colors to easytoon. If that is what he is saying, then it will be a big thing in the animation community.

Color in easytoon has allready ruined it. Now he's thinking of adding it to the accual program? Easytoon made it big because of its pixelly greatness. Now it's trying to become more like other animation programs. I think that EZtoon was great the way it was.

you do realize a pixel is still a pixel even if it's colored, right?

I don't see how this could do anything bad to the program other than throw off people who are overtly used to the black and white style, and if that's the case they can still use it themselves..

I think it's a step in the right direction. There's really no harm that can come out of adding color to the program. If you still want the black-and-white feel, you can always just use earlier versions of the program.

Edit: Well now my post looks eerily similar to Exilements...

Color cannot, and will not, change the way easytoon is. Personally, I think that I would still use black and white. I just like the style. But who knows, maybe color would be really cool.

Wait, so you're saying that just because easytoon might get color means that it is trying to copy flash? That's the most idiotic statement I've heard in a long time.

I think it's fine. In fact, I may be more likely to use it for making cutscenes for Game Maker games.
