I think I animate best when I'm inspired and bored. Usually after seeing something animated, I feel the need to try something new out. But, I never animate for over 15 minutes at a time, and when I do animate, I don't animate again for another week or so. That's why I don't have very many animations posted.
EDIT - I'm also really bad at animating, so I don't show much of my work.

I was aiming for inspired, but I was too tiered to stay awake, so I accidentally slipped and hit other :(

It's weird for me, sometimes it just clicks and I produce something awesome, and the next time I try I get absolute shit.
It seems to be particular animations. If it starts off well, or has a good background/a bit of good progress, I can open that and animate it well. But starting a movie is the hardest part, and many times I've finished a great one, opened another and failed miserably.
