I think it's quite normal amount of people being bullied in this kind of community. People are just very open here at SP. Normally if you ask people are/were they been bullied they probably will lie (don't blame them). But the severness did little bit suprise me.

I once also was bullied in the 5th grade by my own cousin! We never had a good relationship so when i heard he was coming to the same school and class as i, i was devasteted. Right away he started to pick on me, calling me names and just insulting me. One day i got enough and kicked him to face with my shoe and he started to bleed very much. After that incident he stoped to pick on me. It really wasen't physical before that and i never saw any physical harming in my schools. Also I never really knew why he did it. I was really just a ordinary kid back then.
After that our paths just went different way and i'v not been tuch with him in a while. I'm now quite popular guy in collage (art orientated) and i have not seen any bullying there, so thats why im quite suprised of the severness here at SP. Maby it's just the difference in culture... (Sorry if i have many spelling mistakes)

I developed a novel approach to deterring bullying. I just intentionally gave the impression that I might be potentially insane-dangerous.

Basically I was completely passive and ordinary, but did a few small things to worry people just a bit - for example sharpening metal rulers at the back of the class, and rigging pens to explode.

To people I actually talked to, I made it clear that I was mainly doing these things as jokes, but I was able to stay enigmatic enough that the people I avoided (ie. people who seemed to have bully-like tendencies) didn't know anything about me. The result was that I was able to interact with people I liked/knew without causing any alarm, but people who didn't know me would just steer clear in case I might snap and murder them or something.

Effective stuff, but it required planning and acting right from the start of my time at adolescent-prison. I mean high school.

I used to bully people, but that was pure out of immature behaviour and my position as "stronger" male in my class. I was kind of a leader and my friends usually stood by me.
At first I did not even realize I was bullying people, I tended to just say anything that popped in my head before thinking about it. After I realized I was actually bullying somebody pretty bad I immediately stopped.
So for all guys out there who are being bullied... make sure your "bully" knows he is actually hurting you before going to see your teacher or scoop low to violence.

The only form of bullying that i suffered was psicological, some of my (annoying) friends would call me names or some other sort (i don't know how to write it) they insulted everything about me, but i mean everything they would talk bad about my hair, my clothes, my pants, my physical form (i'm not really fat),and it made my life hell, but yet, i didn't do any payback, all i did was ignore it, and soon enough, since they were bad at school, (if you fail somethings in the technological course i am taking you get expelled from it) they were expelled from my course, and just didn't give a crap about it. Luckily for me they never came back, and i (now) am more than relaxed talking and having fun with myfriends. My class is amazing now everyone is my friend.

I guess its easier to just ignore it or something like that, i just wanted to share my story with you guys! :)

People used to attempt to bully me at school because I was short. Little did they know that I couldn't give two shits about their thoughts and would usually just play along with the jokes they threw at me. I've always had a lot of humor for myself and can easily laugh about my mistakes or problems. After a couple of years I had grown to be pretty average in size though, so it pretty much stopped there, not that I felt any difference lol. I guess I was lucky that it was never anything physical because I could not have defended myself at all if that would have been the case.

I was bullied in highschool... it sucked.

lol... I am very famous at school, so I wasnt bullied by someone. And I hadnt bullied anyone ;)

That's a stupid argument. The fact that natural selection happens in nature doesn't mean it is the best course of events, or even a remotely good one.

I didn't mean it literally, just that getting over and getting through bullying is as much all you as much as it is everything else.

on my first week on highschool, some guys tried to bully me...lol... i dudnt tell anybody so i wouldnt get in trouble.
but i was in the bathroom taking a piss. i came out i saw they were waitingfor me outside of the stall so they took my bag of and made it go inside out. then one tried to punch me LOL
little did they know i am a 2nd degree black belt :l

but the only damage they did to me was rip my bag

i was once bullied by these 2 7th graders during pe when i was in 6th grade. So when i was running track i slapped them. this solved everything

same problem here i remember one day someone warned me with a knife if i dont let him copy the tests he will knock me off
