Watch your figures balance during key poses, if it doesn't look like he can stand on his own two (or one) feet, then you should alter the pose. The guy getting hit should vary up his position a bit more as well.

Try to keep track of your footing and reactions. It was almost like that sweep wasn't even there. It barely affected the enemy, he just slightly moved. Plus he didn't ready his spin at the end, he just magically floated to kick that guy.
