One minute, I was playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and the next minute, the wii crashes and doesn't read the disc.
However, ever since the random crash, every time I put in a game disc in the Wii, it doesn't read it. In fact, none of the games I put in there work. Even my gamecube games don't work!
There must be something wrong with the disc drive or something, but I don't really know what the real problem is. Do you guys know?

You're optical drive might be dirty, you might be able to blow on it but it shouldn't be a critical problem
Is it making a loud whirring noise or it just not working
You can also get the homebrew channel and wii backup player to play games from usb or sd card

I'm not really sure.
I don't really know how to describe it, but when I put the disc in, the blue light glows and it runs a little bit, but only whirs 3 times and stops reading the disc.
You get what I mean? And I already tried getting the homebrew channel, but my sd card didn't have enough memory. And I'm not sure what the wii backup player is.

Just give it the old fashioned blow job, it happens to work on most nintendo consoles :)

If it tries to read multiple times, but doesn't sound like a buzzsaw then your laser or lens is dusty or damaged. Both can be fixed, but if air doesn't work you might have to geet it repaired. Also don't blow to hard as you might get to much moisture in there and damage it further

Also wii backup player isn't the official name, but I know there is a homebrew app/channel/w.e that allows you to play gamecube/wii games from usb or s.d card
but you need a huge sd card/usb

My sd card has about 2 giga bytes of memory I think. Is that enough for the homebrew channel?
And yeah, I was considering getting it repaired, but my mom kept on saying how she doesn't want to waste her money on it or whatever, so I guess that's not an option.

EDIT: I tried to blow into it, but it still isn't working. I'm not sure why.
