(No the answer is it is a friends battle, if they allowed ratings to be gained in friendly matches then people could just constantly fight the same person and gain infinite rating level)

Yeah its all good,i didnt gain rating when i won those battles because its a friend battle.Like king said,people would just keep surrendering in friend battles to get their friends ratings really high. Similar to a tactic some other people have used *cough wassem cough*

You dont gain/lose rating for friend battles.

That's why it's called "friendly battle"
