Why is it a bad thing that young kids are aware of sex? What would you rather do, desperately try to censor anything sexual and shield them from it altogether?

Wouldn't it be better to simply be open about sex instead of viewing it as something inherently dirty and taboo. Sex is part of not only human nature, but the basic instincts of just about every complex organism on the planet.

Why the hell do we treat it like it's evil and unfit to be taught to children?

If we taught our children about sex, with no bullshit, just straight facts, they would be better prepared to make smart decisions about sex later in life. They may still choose to have sex as teenagers, but the important thing is that they will be more likely to have sex responsibly, using a condom and birth control.

I like what you said, but you want wait untill the child is 8-12.
You dont want a 5 year old knowing what's sex.And Krob shut the **** up
you dont know what i'm talking about.

Look everybody the kids i'm talking about are 5,6,and 7.
I'm not saying sex is a bad thing.Sex is actullay a good thing.
I didn't learn about sex till I was 9.
But If teens have sex that will lead up to teen pregnacy.
This is a true story.A teen killed her baby, stuffed toilet paper in the baby's mouth, and tried to flush the toliet.
Depending on who they are,and what they do.
Teens could do stupid things to their children.

you were so much more informed at 9 years old than those irresponsible 7 year olds.

your generalization of an entire age group based on one idiot seems suspiciously similar to Fox news

If kids were taught about sex properly at early ages they would be able to make smarter decisions and AVOID teen pregnancy.

You're saying that if kids learn about it when they are "8-12" they WONT likely become pregnant as teenagers, but if they learn about it when they are "5,6, and 7" they will?

Your argument doesn't make any sense.

If you teach them at 8-12 they probably will still make smart decisions
because they are older. They should probably know what to do ,and what
not to do.At age 5-7 they probably won't get it or think it's a good thing
and have sex in thier teens.

It's all about WHAT they're told, and by WHO they're told to.

If some idiot goes like: 'secks iz tha bamb, it's leik putting yo little jack into a girls weewee! And it fells gud!'
DUUH!

But if the children are told the bad and good things by their teachers or parents (who hopefully are no idiots) they won't get a girl/ get themselves pregnant at the age of 12.

sex on tv or video games are simply a matter of maturity.
the biggest misunderstanding of sex on video games was the whole fox news thing with mass effect.

You just don't get it do you?

All you seem to want to do is prevent them from "having sex in their teens". For all intents and purposes, this is impossible. You are never going to stop teens from having sex, especially if your strategy for doing so involves useless censorship of sexual content.

The important thing is that if they decide to have sex as teenagers that they do it RESPONSIBLY, making use of condoms and birth control to avoid pregnancy.

Whether or not they will make responsible choices about sex has NOTHING to do with how young they are when they first learn of the existence of sex. All that matters is that when they do learn about sex, that they learn about it PROPERLY, and the only way that this is going to happen en masse is if we abandon this idiotic idea of sex being taboo and evil. We need to stop with the ridiculous censorship of sexual content, and have a more open and mature attitude about sex.

So lets say a 5 year old kid accidentally stumbles upon the concept of sex while watching TV. So what? The kid is fucking 5, he has almost 10 whole years before he will even hit puberty.

If parents can't properly educate their kid about sex given 10 years to do so, they have failed as parents.

Why would it be any different if the kid was 8?

I agree what you said on the third paragraph.
I never said anything about I want to stop teens having sex
It's true nobody can't stop teens from having sex
But one thing I really agree with you is why think sex is a evil thing.
