I just happened to know that word, it's the name of a movie, besides, you'd need a Japanese name to link to the strongest units you have to defend against, SAMURAIS! O_O

Here's a suggestion:
Prop sets. You select them before you start a sandbox game, or they're chosen for you with timed modes and challenges, to increase the challenge..
They can be like:
Simple: Basic Connectors, Basic tools and triggers, Non-angled (slightly sloped etc.) and non-rotatable blocks. (90 Degree block and 0 degree block)
Amatuer: More connectors to do different things, basic tools and triggers, non-angled, 8 degree snap rotatable blocks.
Pro: Advanced connectors, triggers and tools, angled, and non-snap rotatble blocks
All: All connectors, triggers and tools, angled, and blocks allowing snap and free rotating blocks.
And, maybe if you make customizable game modes, the player can set what prop set is used for his/her gamemode.
Here might be an example:
Pro Mode:
Timed limit to build contraption, time limit shortens every new round.
Another ragdoll added every new round.
Pro Prop set

What if you made it collabe type? (I dunno if this was suggested, I don't want to read through 30 pages)
Each level would be a different work from each member. (or many from a few members)
But that's probably not as open, free-build as you would like.
Just a thought. It would be amazing if you got it free lance, killing level building kickass fun.
