In case anyone was wondering, collision detection is really hard. *frustration*

Should I just try to make a version of the contraption editor without any collisions or ragdolls or anything, or would it be better to get it all working first? Either way, it will probably be a week or two before you see anything.

about the collision detection, i think you should do which ever will yeild better results. I mean you wouldn't want to spend this long on something, and then have it turn out less than it would have because of something like that. IMO

Hey you could make a game where they put there own things that they have to dodge like them build it or something like that, like I mean from scratch with the own floors ceilings kind of like a dark basic thing where all you do is make the game the meshes and renders are made for you.

Wow, I'm looking forward to seeing this, I'd like to build my own type of level though, but have defaults as well.

This entire game is about building your own thing, sleepydan.
I really wish you luck on making this, Axcho.

I'm kind of tired of ragdoll killing games where the ragdoll is limp. I'd love to have a physics engine where the ragdoll actually walks around, and reacts to certain things, like being stabbed. This game is a good example of it: http://onemorelevel.com/game/apple_shooter
Just consider that, kay? :D

Unfortunately the ragdolls will be plain old limp ones in Dejeweled - sorry about that, Devour. Intelligent ragdolls like you describe are extremely difficult to do, but it's definitely something I'm really interested in. When I figure out how to do that, I won't be wasting it on a simple killing game though. ;)

Apple Shooter doesn't actually use intelligent ragdolls, as far as I can tell. I'm not even sure it uses ragdoll at all, for that matter.

Many apologies for the perpetual delays. I'm glad that you're still excited about it, thanks.
