Name: Alcarain Mornië (formerly known as “The Crystal Warrior”)

Spoiler (Click to Show)
the elvenkind. This means he shares some basic traits with all other elves, specifically long, pointy ears, fair skin and naturally tall and slender. Also, his years as both warrior and blacksmith made sure he is not lacking in physical constitution. His facial traits are sharper than most humans’ (giving a slight feeling of “longer face”), but quite the usual among his kindred. He has long, black hair and, once again rather common for elves, silver eyes. He is currently 621 years old, but that is barely adulthood for elves.

His usual clothing consists of a thin, black leather armour, trimmed with crimson red. At his waist hand two dark sword sheaths, holding the two different parts of his accursed red twinblade, Agarosgar. He also travels with a long, once again black, hooded cloak, which he uses mainly for hiding his elf traits and weapons.

His actual battle armour is something different though. It is a heavy plate armour made out of blue Crystal. Said material is an alloy of iron and diamond, both strong and flexible. The forging of Crystal is very difficult, and only one person would be able of crafting a whole plate armour out of it: Alcarain himself. The armour has no ornaments whatsoever, and besides having more sharp cuts instead of rounded edges, it has no distinctive feature. Once, the armour was his usual outfit, and the very long and very many years of constant wear (Crystal hardly ever gets worn out, yet the armour received several reforgings along time ) have accustomed him to its weight, thus he can only move at full freedom and control when wearing heavy armour.

His cursed blade, Agarosgar, is a blood-red twinblade. A twinblade is a two-handed sword with blades on both ends of the hilt. Agarosgar can split into two at the middle, each side being double-edged, and having no interruptions along the edge line: the two edges start separate, but slowly move toward each other until finally meeting into a sharp point. The individual blade length is 90 cm, and the hilt has a total of 30 cm. The total length of the unified twinblade is thus 2,1 meters. it also is practically impossible to destroy, no matter the means: magic, science or brute force.

Spoiler (Click to Show)
skilled, trained warrior and seasoned veteran of a thousand battles, Mornië is clearly above common folk when it comes to physical attributes. His strength is enough to break the ribcage of a human bare-fisted, and speed enough to rival the fastest runner (if unburdened by the armour, that is; when armoured, he moves at an above-average speed). Also, his reflexes are technically good enough to catch an arrow mid-flight, given he has direct sight of the archer.

-Fast healing: Elves naturally heal wounds faster than humans do, taking about half the time for a similar wound. Also, poison usually takes slightly longer to make its effect on them.

-Weaponmaster: His many years thought him to wield properly any weapon that would fall in his hand (firearms not included; he never saw one, but he should be able to understand how to use one if it was explained and shown to him). Among those “any weapons”, bows, swords and shields hold an honour place. And above even that, he mastered the twinblade: a two-handed sword having a blades on both ends of the hilt. Agarosgar is such a weapon, with the added benefit of being able to separate in two different swords at will.

-Blade Aura: By burning energy directly on the edge of any bladed weapon he may use, he can increase its cutting power until steel poses as much a challenge to cut as butter does. On the other hand, using the aura causes the wielder to tire more quickly, as energy must be expended constantly in order for the aura to be kept active.

- Projections: Alcarain’s signature move, it allows one unlimited movement speed at the cost of all moves being executed first by a spectral form of the user which has no effect on the physical world. After decades of perfecting, Alcarain is now able to extend the projection both ways, thus retaining the capability to move his own body at the same time as he moves his projection. This requires spit focus on the other hand, and leaves him only able to fight based on reflex until the projection is completed.

-Blood Pact: Should the situation ask for it, Agarosgar can almost infinitely amplify any power the wielder has; on the other hand, this wears out the user very fast, and most people can barely double their power before fainting. When Mornië resorts to using these powers, he can hold them for about five minutes, given he was not tired already. Powers:

-Blood Aura: The Blade Aura can now extend farther than the actual blade, being able to cut down targets up to a few meters ahead. The aura takes visible form, looking like very thick crimson mist.

-Projection Dance: Agarosgar itself controls the projections, and can focus on an infinite number at the same time. This tires down Mornië terribly fast though, and only a total of ten projections can be done at the same time without him losing consciousness. He still has to do each move individually though, and the effort is thus multiplied directly by the number of projections.

-Red Cloud: A thin red mist slowly extends from Agarosgar, slightly obstructing vision and giving Mornië full awareness of any move around him, independently from his senses, and thus being able to spot unseen things and possibly more.

ng his armour, he can move faster, but he lacks the precision of movement he has when armoured. Also, while his armour provides excellent protection and gives him comfort, he has to equip it prior to the battle. This means he will not wear it if combat was not something foreseen.

-Energy: Mornië is used to fighting for long amounts of time, but he has his limits as well. He can hold six hours of constant fighting, half this time if using the Blade Aura, and half an hour if he used Projections often as well. Add just a bit of Agarosgar, and he’ll be dead tired after a few minutes.

-Blood Cost: Agarosgar yearns for blood, and the drawback to using his powers, besides the huge amount of energy required, is the payment in blood he has to receive. This cost is nothing set, and it can vary greatly depending on things like the amount of time Agarosgar was used, how much time passed since the last “meal” and simply his “mood”. Usually though, it’s around one person’s worth of blood for every half a minute of use. In the event of lacking any kind of blood source around (aka. “innocent person”), Mornië is forced to use his own blood, and Agarosgar will treat it as being worth ten times the same amount of normal blood. This means that extended use of Agarosgar against a bloodless enemy, and in a remote location can prove outright lethal to Mornië, even in the event of winning.

-Twinblades vs dual wield: Agarosgar can split into two, meaning Mornië can both dual wield swords or use a twinblade. The Dual wield allows for blocking and attacking at the same time, but it splits focus on two hands and thus lowers reaction time. Twinblades are used in a very similar manner to a fighting staff, and it usually makes use of being able to turn every block into a counter and every attack into a block with just a spin of the weapon. Also, while the reaction time is indeed faster, there is a delay in movement compared to dual wielding. Then, as far as preferences go, Mornië’s clear favourite is the twinblade, and he feels much more comfortable with it. Expect sweeping kicks to be used alongside the slashes from the blade.

ings he never spoke to others of, his reason probably being regret for the life he forever lost. He was born a talented lad, and he ended up being a very young (100-200 years...) blacksmith. Weaponsmithing had kindled into him the wish to fight on his own, not to relay on others to use his fine blades. Thus, by 400 years, he was already one of the most respected and skilled blacksmiths of all the elves, and an honourable, skilful knight as well. In the next hundred years, he created the new alloy that is to be known as Crystal, he perfected old techniques into his signature Projections and mastered the Blade Aura all elven knights are so proud of.
Then it was the disaster of Agarosgar’s creation that ripped him away from all of that. As soon as the blade was forged, its demonic spirit took control over the creator, and soon wiped out all neighbouring life, sparing none and having no mercy. Mornië, being the blacksmith who forged this demon, started travelling then, in a mad quest of destroying Agarosgar.
From then on, many things have happened, from temporary friends to true comrades, countless good and bad deeds done as failed attempts of ending his curse, to a divine order known as “The Council of Masks”. It was at the council he finally learned that Agarosgar could not be destroyed. That revelation crushed his will, and Agarosgar took no time in taking total control over the helpless body of Mornië.
The next few years linger in his memory as just hazy, crimson-red restlessness. After this grim period was over, and Alcarain finally got back in control, he was no longer the man he once was, not fully. Now, he barely wanders the land, seeking to keep Agarosgar fed on blood (since when he hungers is when he becomes really dangerous), using outlaws and criminals for this purpose.

h since when I first made this page, and I should clearly also make a new demo. As soon as inspiration hits me, I promise it will be there. Until then though, the old one is still existing (in the "older version of this page" spoiler)

t taller and thinner than the average human. Clad in full crystal armor, no one really knows what he looks like beneath it. What is known are his weapons: the Crystal Twinblade and the dreaded Agarosgar. An explanation to the Twinblade is required, I think: a twinblade is a kind of weapon developed by The Warrior and it basically consists in a two-handed sword with two ends, or like a fighting staff with blades instead of blunt edges, and a handle in the middle. The armor itself is light blue, with sharp cuts. Faint red specks can be seen in the crystal of the gauntlets and boots.

Personality: Reserved and calculated, The Warrior is using a wall of cold lack of emotions and perfect rational thinking to mask his true self, hidden from absolutely everyone. He previously despised combat, but no longer. Agarosgar's power has started to slowly overcome his own. It is uncertain how long he will still last a sane person.

-ELF: gotten by birth and not training, being an elf grants him superior strength and agility than the average human.

-CRYSTAL EQUIPMENT: crystal is the name he gave to an ultimate alloy between high quality steel and diamond. This alloy is amazingly resistant and also, once sharpened(long and difficult process, can last years to finish) will never go blunt.

-MASTER SMITH: his past as one of the fabled elven warrior-smiths allows him to quickly find any strength or weakness in the equipment of an enemy.

-PROJECTED FIGHTING: an art created by him allowing one unlimited speed of movement, at the cost of all moves being seen by everyone in the form of a projection of himself, and after a short delay from the last move of the projection, The Warrior executes the exact same move at impossible speed, making all moves made this way able to cut past any defenses.
-> refined with TWIN PROJECTION: The ability to project two sets of moves at once. But the fact it is a lot harder to use will tire any user quickly. Currently, after having a good night's sleep, The Warrior can use this move up to 5 times.

-BLADE AURA: an ancient art of the even warriors, it burns energy directly into the edges of the blade, granting it the power to cut through the strongest of metals like they were butter.

-AGAROSGAR: a twinbalde forged by him a long time ago, blood-red and feared by all. He only uses this a very last resort, preferring to lose the battle than use it. The blade itself grants him amazing speed and strength, unlimited energy, an ultimate version of the blade aura and the power to Project and execute multiple moves at once. All this at a single, tiny, little cost: his will and mind. The Cutter has its own will and mind, and it will seek to overwhelm any user in order to achieve its only goal: blood. It seems though that the once primitive mind of it starts to sharpen. Agarosgar can be considered almost a person now. Is it because he learned from The Warrior all these years? Or did it just... grow up?

Well, the idea is pretty nice.
But, for one, you must have a story. (Unfortunately, the demo doesn't count as the story.)
Second, the points should be something like 0 wins/0 losses/0 ties/0 forfeits.
Other than that, it looks promising. Do get the story up soon though, or it will be locked.

In your demo (for future reference) remember to use quotation marks for dialogue. It cleans it up nicely and makes it easier to read without having to use a dash. And try using italics for thoughts, just to differentiate the dialogue from the actual story.

Pretty balanced overall, so good luck in your first battle!
