Whoah, good particles. Though a good way to colour it, for next time is to have the particles pure white with a glow effect on them.
The head of the stickman is wobbly too.

As for the body proportions, you can have two guidelines, one for the top of the legs, the other for the top of the neck. This way you can tell where to put the stuff.
Also, keep in mind human body proportions, which is eight heads roughly.
First head is the head
Second head ranges from the chin to the nipples (shoulders are halfway)
Third head is nipples to bellybutton (women have a higher bellybutton surprisingly. So her belly button would be a bit higher than this mark. The elbows are also here)
Fourth head is bellybutton to bottom of torso.
Fifth and sixth head are from the bottom of the torso to the bottom of the knees.
Seventh and eight, from the bottom of the knees to the bottom of the feet.

This isn't really relevant but it helps to make a better judgement of where the body parts should or could go

the fire movements are really nice.
just correct the portion of the head movement.i can see the head move before he fires.so always make the head move along the neck.
And in case u need any help,feel free to ask me :)

The body is kinda stiff, always avoid the torso to be straight (unless if needed) because bending it, make sticks look more normal, well IMO. :p

anyways, nice for a first.

As a human's back is never 100% straight.
