Toon Zelda was supposedly planned for Brawl, she may either have lost it because if the limit of characters or it was a bad idea adding her, maybe she'll appear in this game.

I think Roy was also planned to be in Brawl, too, but people would've just got confused by the Roys in the other franchises, such as Roy Campbell (Colonel) in Metal Gear Solid, and the Roy Koopa from the Mario series.

Meh, melee's gravity engine was a bit too weird. Brawl just felt kind of more flowy and it had tons more content. Just my opinion though :P

If that really is the character list I am pretty pleased.. except that I'm in rage they didn't put in Shadow the Hedgehog!
Luckily, there'd be Shulk (from Xenoblade Chronicles, one of the best games I've ever played) and Professor Layton who is just a badass.
