So I have this animated mask of a rectangle moving over text to show it up.
Now the mask works fine in the flash timeline, but it doesn't show at all in the swf. Help me guys.


As you can see, the mask works fine.


But here in the swf, in the same frame, nothing appears.

I did, check it out.

try selecting your text and hitting ctrl+b a few times. flash does some weird stuff with text sometimes

If you select the word/shape/object and do ctrl+enter, this problem arises. Click somewhere outside to deselect your object and then export.

Ctrl+B broke apart my text, which I believe resolved the issue.
