Okay, I think this has already been made...but, seriously...

What happened to the Delete button? I accidentally made a poll 5 options only...Wanted to delete the thread but the delete button just poofed out...Why does this happen to me when I reached 1,000 posts??? The delete button was still there when I was below 1,000 posts >_<

I couldn't find it anywhere!

You mean the button to delete your first post your thread is missing?

Oh yeah! Completely forgot about that. xD
If you go to the top of the thread and find the button that says "Administrative", click on it and then click on the "Delete thread" option if you choose to do so.

Yeah you can't delete your threads after someone has posted in it or voted in the poll.
You can still lock it though.

When you hit 1000 posts you're moved from the Registered Users usergroup to the Privileged Users usergroup. This was originally done to stop newbies clogging up the now-neglected Groups section, but it seems someone (quite possibly me) left the "Can delete own posts and threads" option unchecked for the Privileged group.

It's been a problem for at least a month now, so it's probably time to PM stone. I'll do it.

Thanks Fred, you made it just in time to solve the mystery. How did you know it was the Registered Users usergroup issue though? Was he planning on burning the property down to claim the insurance money?

Registered Users usergroup: "Myeah seee. I would have gotten away with it too if not you for pesky kids and you're terminally ill braindead dog seeee!"

Oh...well, thanks for telling me that...

Time to either bin or lock this.
