I can't see this guy doing much in a real fight. What are his combat abilities? The Earth manipulation is very utility and defensively based. And swinging his weapon isn't something I'd base whole fight off of unless he was just a weapon adept. Question:
When you say "if he is airborne he is doomed", is it that he is just scared of being airborne or does it effect him physically?

he is afraid of being airborne and when he is in the air he is pretty much defenseless.
