Inspireception

Inspiration is the reason why some RHGs doesn't have originality,I just suggest to add some different things to your RHG but not the other's ability,think a ability that you think that doesn't looks so obvious.
I admit my RHG is too unoriginal :/

It really depends on what you mean by original. I don't mind inspiration (because something that is inspired can still be original in its own way), but anything that's a blatant copy of something isn't one that I particularly enjoy.

People will always copy whatever is the norm and whoever is the most popular. And RHG Clones have always been around. They're seasonal and they pop up once in awhile and not just now.

This is where you are wrong. It totally applies to me. Cause I was one of the people who did this back in FA. Inspired and copying are not the same thing. You must not have seen my true intent. Rather to destroy complete copies then other similarities. Cause truthfully I find originality in RHG extremely difficult, unless yours is just weird or completely unique. So at least everyone won't be the same, just a bit different from one another to stand out.

The entertainment industry is buzzing with life, and if you would take a little time to tell the corporations to stop force-feeding you their shit and hunted your own game you would realize that there is a lot of creative and original content out there. Whether it be music, animation, video games or film, if you just take a little time you can easily find something that you haven't seen or heard before. You are only fooling yourself if you say that everything is always the same, because it is far from true.
Complaining about how the mainstream is always the same wont result in anything, you have to dig up the creative yourself.

Yeah, it's pretty difficult to come up with something original nowadays without people bitching "You stole my idea!" and shit. I'm sure you can still come up with something, but it could take a while to figure it out a bit.
But the thing is that creativity is made by an inspiration, like what Hewitt said, which may be the reason why there are so many similar RHGs.

It's basically a big long chain of thoughts and ideas. Besides, if there wasn't anything, then what could you come up with? Nothing, because you haven't been inspired by anything.

But if you take someone's idea and just slap your name on it, then that's considered unoriginal.

I just don't like being called a hypocrite.

Anyways someone can lock or bin this, I just wanted to see how the community felt on this topic.

You can be inspired and not copy exactly. For example, I recently got an RHG idea from watching one of Quickfeet's battles and after a little thinking and brainstorming I ended up with an RHG that did stuff with atoms/particles and Gamma rays and whatnot. I won't post the whole thing here, because, I don't start a bandwagon of copycats, and I want to keep my idea original.

Im thinking of already making my char on the forums, but before that, I was wondering what is a copy of other Rhgs. Basically it's inspired by KidKei but I'm probably gonna add more details to make it more distand

Honestly for me it"s so mainstream for rhgs to have very fast or knows kung fu as their abilities. Give it more detail.
Also many rhgs just use swords, it's not a crime but try something else. Bow and arrow, spear, shield that can also attack, chain/whip, you could even try hook swords.
Or not have weapons at all. Just have special powers like stop time temporarily, can shoot bone needles from his hands, can stretch his limbs, breathes fire etc.

I have many character ideas in my head if you want something specific.
