Abilities
- Electra has Advanced Speed and Advanced Brain Function that derives from the Ichor in her blood.
--Example speed: she can run the 40-Yard Dash in 4 seconds (record holder IRL is 4.19 seconds).
- Electra has a photographic-memory and advanced reaction time, making her hand eye coordination unparallel by normal human beings, and she can easily multitask up to 3-4 things at a time.
--Example: she can keep up her Chants while simultaneously receive information through text, from sight or by word and not miss a step in either.
Electra’s Fae Magic is manifested through Chants, and are controlled with Hand and Arm motions. Chants are key words that are uttered, too quietly for anyone without Advanced Hearing to comprehend (assuming that the listener can understand the language. Note :: When writing Electra, please do not make up words on your own to indicate she is using her magic. It should be extremely difficult to hear in the first place, but if your gladiator can hear what she is saying, use the Index below, or PM me for clarification), that summons and/or forms her will with the use of mana. The source in which she pulls her mana is from the Ichor that runs through her veins.
--Her major in-battle Sorcery usage include;
- Illusions :: By far the most concentrated Chant in Electra’s repertoire, and the most taxing in mana, her illusions make for trick maneuvers, camouflage, traps, and help for quick getaways in tough situations, with the promise that she has enough mana to hold an illusion for its duration, of course. Electra’s Illusions are not everlasting due to her Diluted blood, and therefore she must continue her Chant for the duration of the Illusion. Once the Chant stops, or her mana depletes, the Illusion stops. If given enough time, she can target the mind directly and implant Illusions to effect the five senses, which could ultimately alter one’s memories of certain events. Her Illusions also effect recording devices and picture cameras.

After Part 6 :: Electra can detect brain activity in a perimeter of 50 yards and can send her thoughts to anyone in that vicinity, giving her a Sixth Sense and a One-Way Telepathic connection.
- Barriers :: The most tactical of Electra’s magic, with the least usage of mana. Usually summoned by 1-3 word Chants (depending on distance, size, and strength of the Barrier) Electra can rapid fire her protective mana shields. The distance of her Barriers range from point blank to 75 yards, size varies from 1’x1’ (length x width) to 30’x30’ (about the length of a three story house) and can be shaped in anyway, placed at any angle, and formed to create a sphere/cube/dodecahedron/etc. that encompasses a target, and the strength can vary from the protective seal of a bullet proof vest to that of a concrete wall. Thickness of a Barrier usually limits to about 2”, but can be made to be thinner. Breaking a Barrier results in the shattering of the hardened mana, much like breaking a window. Creating is done mentally, summoning is done through Chant, and placing is done by Hand and Arm motions that can be compared to chess; speaking a Chant and extending her arm out in the general direction that Electra would like her Barrier to form, she is connected to the shield though her mana (her hand has a gold aura encircling it for the duration of the connection) and once she severs the connection the Barrier is placed and cannot be moved, only broken. The Barrier lasts until it is broken or runs out of time (i.e. mana). Suffocating an enemy by encompassing them isn’t possible. The color of Electra’s Barriers are the same color as her mana, bright gold, and each are transparent.
After Part 6 ::
- Electra's shields have and extreme temperature resistance;
--As high as 2500 Degrees Fahrenheit (A few hundred degrees higher than that of lava)
--As low as -400 Degrees Fahrenheit (About 50 degrees lower than liquid nitrogen)
- Her Barriers do not conduct electricity, and can keep lightning at bay.
- Lecty's Shields can change elasticity as long as she stays connected to them through her mana
- Magic Bow :: Electra’s only offensive Chant. Summoning her Bow has an initial mana cost, but once the Bow is in use there is no depletion in mana to keep the Bow summoned. The Bow itself is not a solid item made of wood, plastic, or metal, nor does it have a bowstring, but in actuality is made up of mana that is intangible to all except Electra. Her Bow’s length varies between 5-6’. Each arrow fired is also made up of and uses mana. Every arrow does not need a Chant to be uttered in order to fire, she need only pull back her firing hand (she’s left handed) as if it were a real bow and an arrow will appear. There are Chants, however, to change the style of arrow that she fires, four total, and they are; Piercing, Tranquilizer, Explosion, and Flash. Unless she utters the Piercing chant, each arrow can be considered “Blunt Tipped.” Getting hit with one of Electra’s normal arrows is like receiving a Haymaker from Bruce Lee :). The color of Electra’s Bow and Arrows are the same color as her mana, bright gold, and each are transparent.
After Part 6 :: Electra can shoot up to three arrows at a time in any configuration she chooses: Three rapid shots in a row, three in a line horizontally/vertically/diagonally with a maximum space of 90 Degrees between the outer arrows, and three in a triangular form. She can also shoot an arrow and turn it into one of her Shields by Chanting the Barrier summon. And to change a multi-shot arrow type (Pierce, Tranquilizer, Explosion, Flash), she only has to Chant the alternate arrow once and the tri-shot will become the new arrow style.
- Fae Wings :: Electra’s best use of transportation. Electra is half Fae, but unlike all of her Faerie ancestors, she was not born with the familiar physical trait that all Fae-born have, due to her Diluted blood. Therefore, she must create her own. And unlike her Bow, summoning her Wings has an initial mana cost, and continues to drain her of mana the longer the period she has them summoned. Similar to her Bow, they are intangible to all except Electra. She is easily twice as fast with her wings than she is without, and her top speed is about 120 mph. The color of Electra’s Wings are the same color as her mana, bright gold, and each are transparent.
--Electra’s non-battle sorcery includes;
- Lecty’s Blessing :: A series of Chants really only good for two things. One, it implants a gold aura into a target object, cleaning it of any dirt, residue, rust, mold, etc. making it seem as if brand new, and makes for a good gift. Two, blessing a food long enough, which is measured by the size of the food, can turn it into “Ambrosia,” which she can consume to replenish her mana much, much quicker than waiting over time for it replenish itself.
- Lecty’s Cure-all :: An ongoing Chant that slowly cures injuries. Timeline Heal Examples: Bruises and minor cuts in minutes, broken bones and deep gashes in hours.
Electra goes everywhere with a small handheld case that fits easily into her bag or pocket. The case can hold up to 12 pieces of Ambrosia, each approximately the size of a starburst candy. Because of the size of the food, only a portion of her mana is restored for each consumed.
Once again, I don't think Chant dialogue
should come up in a battle outside of my own, but because majority of SP authors write in third-person, and the existence of Gladiators who have advanced hearing, I've written this short list of Electra's commands. Electra was raised by both parents up un
til the death of her father. Starting her preteen years, her Faerie mother thought it best that she live with her human Grandmother to keep her safe from the
Diluted Hunters. Her Grandmother, Elizabeth, suggested Electra try a type of meditation, telling her stories about how her father had found Tai Chi to be cleansing for the mind and soul. Loving the connection she feels towards her father, Electra has been actively practicing Tai Chi for eight years.
After Part 6 ::
- Electra has studied and mastered the basics to both Karate and Jujutsu.
- Electra can mold her Shields to form around her hands/fists and forearms to work as offensive, as well as protective, gauntlets. She can do the same with her feet and shins to make foot protectors and shin guards. As long as she stays connected to them, she can keep their elastic give-and-take comfortable and maneuverable on the inside, while solid and sturdy on the outside.

Weaknesses
- As stated before, Electra’s Barriers are incapable of suffocating any being within it’s confines. Though her Barriers are solid and can enclose a person, air currents are immune to their halting effects. Therefore, any wind manipulator or Air Elemental can penetrate her shields with ease.
- Electra’s mana source isn’t limitless. She’s found herself in situations where mana depletion ends her Illusions or withdraws her Wings mid-flight multiple times. The source of her mana is the Ichor in her blood and fully lowering it takes a toll, causing head rushes, blurry vision, and “heavy” muscles. Measuring her mana in the number of arrows she can fire can be compared to the number of arrows in a quiver. Full mana bar is a 150 arrow quiver, half is 75, and apply percentages as so.
- On the first day she tested the extent of her Wings, at the age of ten, one of the previous stated mana depletions occurred. At the time, Electra was five stories high and moving at around twenty mph. Though tree branches helped slow her fall, upon crash landing she broke an arm and three ribs, one piercing a lung, among other lacerations and bruises along her body. She survived, but now has a deathly fear of heights (ironic, I know), and once she looks down from any height over one story she experiences extreme anxiety, nausea and a sharp stabbing pain in the right side of her chest.
- Electra’s Chant magic is exactly that, and she must be able to Chant in order to use it. Inability to do so stops her magic. Same applies to placing Barriers, she needs the use of her Hands and Arms. Shutting down the use of her mouth, hands, and arms renders her pretty much useless. (But who doesn’t become useless without them :p)
- As a God’s descendant, she is bound by the strange indeterminable law that codes a Demigod’s existence; while Gods tend to be extremely selfish, any mixed blood offspring of a God is extremely selfless. In a sense she is a Hero, or Heroine, and is very willing, almost near obligated, to protect innocents even at the cost of harming herself, much like her father before her. She has yet to come across any situation where her life was the cost for another’s safety, but then again she is only 21 years old, and only time will tell.
From afar, Electra could seem a bit unap
proachable. With penetrating eyes, hair that doesn’t follow the norm, and posture that would make a Queen proud, the attention of one who could make the palms of the most sly playboy sweat, more often than not, is passed over for a more familiar presence. Upon first meeting her, one could say Electra was a woman of few words, and hesitant on spending a few smiles. Couple that with the fact that she is one-third of a band that is on the fast track to stardom, Electra could be described as a woman in a class far above your average day breather. She honestly has trouble making friends, but the fault is not entirely hers to hold.
Though making friends isn’t an everyday occurrence for her, the friends and loved ones that she does have would tell you that she is sweet, humble, encouraging, funny, quick-witted, a skilled musician, and very friendly, among a few descriptions. It just might take you a few meetings to get her to open up, and it’s because of that that many people give up after their initial introduction, believing she doesn’t want to make nice with a stranger.
Her combat style could easily be described in one word: Support. Each of her abilities are extremely useful in group fights, and include her Demigod selfless trait into the mix, an ally could turn their back on one opponent and be reassured to know that Electra would keep them safe. However, that doesn’t mean that she can’t put up a fight. With impressive speed and maneuverability, a quick mind and fast reflexes, and ranged abilities, she could easily hold her own in a group, or going solo.
Electra plays the Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano, Percussion, and she Sings. Her favorite take-out is Mexican food, her favorite animal is the Arctic Fox, her favorite color is Blue, and if asked what her favorite memory is, she would tell you of the time when she was seven, where she watched television into the early morning with her parents after awakening from her first nightmare, being comforted in their giant bed, and falling asleep to the softly sung harmonies of “You are my Sunshine” by mother and father.

Electra is 21 years old and 5’7” wit
h large eyes, a straight, slightly upturned nose, and full pouty pink lips. She has straight pearly white teeth, with a wide smile. Her skin color would be considered Anglo, with a full body tan. Along her clavicle, not far off from where shoulder meets neck, she has a beauty
