Color Proofing issue in Photoshop CS5

So there's this issue I've had for some time now with getting photoshop's colors to match up with my computer's default color profile.
Usually when exporting any type of image it comes out with more saturation and darker in color. I've managed to make a setup on my own to reduce it to a minimum, but the problem is still present and I would love for it to just go away. But that's not going to happen and finding help on this topic only provides indirect answers.
That's why I'm here now.

The problem has been solved;

The color profile needs to be set to "Do Not Monitor"
The project needs to be in 8bits
Proof Colors needs to be unchecked
And Gamma levels need to be adjusted
