What's the best way to deal with a ton of albowtross? The thing is, in albow vs albow with some other unit combos, once an albow superiority comes out; the units that can deal with it are A) Archidons B) Albow C) Magikill (hoping you get a spell off...) D) Giant.

The best way to counter masses is alwas MAGIKILL....and against albow mass you can mass giants...but its a lame strat...

Well, I don't allbow mass, I usually use allbow-spearton, but it's similar enough for me to say something, I think.
In allbow massing has two great weaknesses. Firstly, it is slow. Secondly, it is fragile.
Both of these make them unsuited for attacking the enemy's statue. Unless you have a large tanking unit, or several tanking units, it is impossible to attack a statue that is defended by castle archers. Level three castle archer pretty much kills your allbow mass.
Of course, if you have enough gold for level three castle archers, you might as well just spring for a giant.
That being said, level 2 should do quite well enough, and the point about level 3 castle archers was just a point to point out how useless the allbows are.
Now, then, they second thing they are weak to would be poison spray of the magikill.
Here is how it works:
Make 2 or more speartons.
Make 1 magikill.
Have the speartons rush the merics, while your magikill prepares a poison spray spell.
The speartons and the mage will both die; but that has just killed their allbow mass. Allbows have so little hp they die from poison spray in about 20 seconds. With only one or even no merics left, they will be hard pressed to cure an entire army of allbow of their poison. At best, the single meric left would be able to cure up to 5 of them before the rest die, while you can build what's left of your army.

2 or 3 giants protecting magikill who poison them all, then the giants can move in so the magikill can get closer for an explosion or electric wall, you might lose one or two giants, but if you poison most albows, they will die quickly.

yes, and if they stay in the same spot and you sneak up on them with electric wall this will kill them

The thing is, what do you do when they input a bit of micro; moving backwards as soon as they see a spell animation?

Well, the thing is this: They are too slow, And the poisson spray has a large range......

The best way is always to stop the mass before the mass. Read their miners; 3-4 on mana usually means something mana heavy. Once you see that first albow, you should realize that they're massing albows. I always include archers in my build, so around this point in the game I tech to shield wall-able speartons, chase the albows, and shoot them down. If you fail to end the game before the mass is complete, and you're facing a turtle with ~20 albows, start a siege. Get Tower Spawn II, mage + meric + giant + some speartons, and attack. Playing so close to base gives no room for him to micro backwards. Once he garrisons, have e-wall ready. When you see his units start coming out of garrison, time your e-wall so that it hits the space just outside of garrison. If he tries to tank through the e-wall, or micro through it, have blast ready to finish him off. Otherwise, he's forced back into garrison and you can continue destroying his statue.

if there is a mass, I think it's best to have a ranged unit and a mass of some melee unit with a lot of health/armor, and some merics,

An albow mass can fly over your melee units and tear through your ranged units, leaving your melee units at their mercy. If you get giants, well blazing bolts tears through giant hide, like most armour, but you may still do some damage before your giant dies.
You need to poison them and stall them, or as jli said, stop the mass before it happens.

Amusingly, I just met an albow masser yesterday and forgot my own advice. XD

Target where they will move not always where they are at that moment.

its actually really hard to effectively poison spray someone that can micro with albows since -magikill- are slower than albows. it's irrelevant how fast ur tanks are. giants basically counter albows any day
