Looks like something I'd find in the Legend of Zelda.

Looks really cool! Reminds me a lot of the wallmasters/floormasters in LoZ, so that's pretty cool. The style was unique and the shading was great. That eye is certainly VERY creepy.

The spike-ish things look a bit out of place, idk why. I would love it if you added a background to it, that would make it look much more complete. The ring finger looks like it's broken, but maybe that's what you were going for.

You really need to use Photoshop more!

oh - that's not actually jpeg artefaction, they're just brush strokes my screen didn't have the contrast to view at all. i only noticed them when i read your post and then looked at the image on my phone.

thanks for pointing this out. i've blindly tried to remove the problem. is this better?

and you're right about the pinky finger, i had trouble getting it to look right.

thanks for the comments. i considered putting in a background but honestly i had no intention of making this anywhere near this detailed when i started to draw it. it was initially going to be a 5 minute MS Paint diagram. by the time i finished this i was like "shit i just spent four hours doing this i should be doing my assignment". maybe i'll add one to it at some point in the next few days

the spikes were added last, and kind of rushed (mainly due to sheer volume) that's not an excuse, but that's why they look out of place. i'll try and improve them later also (maybe)

as for the ring finger, i have no problem with it looking broken. my intent was for it to look like it's furiously tense with rage and malice. or something



and yes, i'm starting to think i should use photoshop more. this was fun. maybe i'll use a tablet next time

Anyways, artwork looks nice. I am actually surprised that you draw so well, seems like a handy set of talents you got. As mentioned before, not sure what is going on with the ring finger, may want to double check your joints. Also, that eye is creepy as fuck.
