Theres a law in texas that states that if any person intrudes into your home you have full rights in pretty much executing that person on the spot. Now theres a little clause that might be added to this because a man in texas saw his NEIGHBORS house being broken into and he felt he coudln't just sit idly by and watch his neighbors house get broken into. He called 911 and told them that he is gonna go outside and make sure that those burglars don't get away. They told him time and time again not to do anything and stay inside. He said that he feels threatened and what if they come to his house now or even tomorrow?
He came outside, confronted the burglars, told them to stop and of course they didn't. He shot them point blank with a shotgun, killed them both. You can hear it all on the phone call with the police.
Some view him as a hero, others as a murderer.
whats your view?

Murderer. He has crossed his bounds, and has gone against what the police have ordered them to do.

He did all his could by calling the police, as the law is for your OWN house.
He broke the law and committed murder.

Quote from 2-Dmurderer, if he went in there with a ****ing shotgun he was going to kill something.
Or to scare them, so they'd listen.
I'd say he did the right thing.
That law must've been made by fags or something.

I think he should have just shot their feet.
Murderer.
Murderer.

Murderer. Nobody's life was in acute danger and he shot them point-blank with a fucking shotgun. That's pretty much murder.

Also, that law is the same in Oklahoma, but it is also applied to by the more recently enacted Duty to Retreat law, stating that you may only defend yourself if you have no means of escape.

His neighbors couldn't be happier that he did that for them. Its a very big other side to this saying that he is infact a hero though. I still am on that side, at what point is it just ok to burglarize? These weren't law abiding work force tasked individuals. They were as what they were doing, criminals.
I believe he was right in doing what he was doing, very well knowing that the police wouldn't get there in time nor ever catch them. What would you have done?
He didn't say he wasn't going to harm anyone, he said right out to the police that he was going to kill them both.

that guy is an idiot. were they armed? were they threatening his life or property? was he ORDERED BY THE POLICE not to do anything? he broke the law in about 5 different ways. He should have taken pictures, given descriptions, if they had a car, license plate number, color, model, not ****ing kill them.
but then again, it's texas, so those crazy mother****ers can do whatever they want

Hero. If anyone who didn't belong in my house stepped one foot in it, someone would be dead, whoever it is, no one intrudes in my home. As for my neighbors, i would have done the same.

well i think that he shouldnt have killed them, maybe just shot a warning shot and if they carried on shoot one of them in the leg. if it was my house i still wouldnt kill them, just throw them out the window like ozzy osbourne :p

You can stop someone from doing something without fucking killing them. Like ash said you can just shoot them in the foot or something. He is a murderer.

That's that Joe Horn case in Pasadena.
He didn't really have to kill them both.
He could of let the police take care of it,
or give a warning shot.
If he was going to shoot them he could of shot them in the leg where can
survive, long if it's not the arteries.
But he did stop the burglars.
He made sure that they won't come back to that neiborhood
I think he's both a hero and a murderer

Valid point. Theres no reason why you can't think of him as a hero and murderer.
