Alright guys. Here is the new typing game:

It's simple, really. All you have to do is one-up each other like a barrel of monkeys. The twist? This thread will only last for 2.5 weeks. This will test your tenacity in the given period of time. So, how high can you go by the end of August 14, 2013. Let's go!

As you can see, three things are immediately apparent in this screenshot:

a) The actual score which is right now a very unsatisfying 67 WPM.
b) A progress graph on the bottom, to show that my progress has been moderately consistent and within range. And if it's improving it'll show the gradual progress made.
c) And most importantly, the piece I was just typing and the mistakes I made. This also shows that I didn't just skip every long piece just to get a consistently high WPM per exercise.

ALL THREE ARE NECESSARY TO BE RANKED!

While still not Photoshop proof, I surmise it'll take more effort to shoop. More effort to win a piddly children's forum game so why the fuck do it in the first place?! Let everyone have their fun and don't do it!


Rules:

1) As I said, this thread will end on Aug 14, 2013. I will be updating this thread every night whenever I can so be patient and don't rush me having scores updated!

2) You can't post a screenshot until you've had at least 5-8 sessions of typing. This is so the history curve normalizes itself. We'll know anyway because the curve below the score will be part of the screenshot. If you're doing these sessions on constantly different PCs then I suggest getting an account so it logs your progress. Easy as that.

3) Don't Photoshop. Nothing to be gained here but a shiny new E-Peen.


I'll be updating Leaderboards for the Top 10-15 depending on how many people join this.

the errors really kill my flow, but its better for me to mess up in the beginning because I can just go super saiyan and type really fast.

I'd do this but I have a phone.. Which means I type incorrectly consistently and I'd just use the word helper.

yeah, i know what you mean. why won't it just let me mess up one word and move on to the next? but oh well, i always end up correcting my mistakes anyway. even on the other typing game.
