No, but seriously, I think we all can agree, the majority of the fun in ssb is playing against your friends, so I personally don't think that its that big of a deal.
Also, of course Luigi was confirmed. Was there ever any doubt?

I think Sakurai's reasoning why he isn't putting in a Story Mode is kinda bull. I think there's probably another reason why and he's using youtube as a scapegoat.

I dont really care that there is no story mode, when i completed the story mode in brawl i never came back to play it again. the multiplayer is were its at.

It does stink that there wont be a story mode, but it wasn't a big part of the game for me anyway.
I'd prefer just brawling with my friends instead of playing story mode.

Aw, I actually really enjoyed the story mode in brawl(yes, even the maze). It just felt like I was playing an adventure game of my dreams, where my favorite characters would all meet up. That's just me though. I'm glad that Luigi's confirmed, now I only want Toon Link. He's like, my main character I use :o

My faves were Falco, Toon Link, Mr. Game & Watch, Meta Knight, Lucas, Ness, and Snake. I hope those guys will return.

so there wont be a part two to Subspace Emmisary? kind of a let down. and Luigi being confirmed is great.

Hope they replace the story mode with additional content, cause it gives you something to do when your friends aren't there
also how are we gonna unlock the characters this time around? I doubt they would just give em to us.

Probably the same ways as before, like in Melee for some characters, do events, play a certain amount of matches, play long enough. Simple.

They said not to expect as many third party characters.
Doesn't mean there wont be any
But for gods sake, not snake, that character was disgusting
