Because photography is somewhat like artwork, I'd like to show some pictures I took with my HTC Inspire phone.

Camera specs :
All I know is that this camera captures in 8 Mega Pixels.

CNC much appreciated since I'm planning on minoring photography.

Love that use of up-close objects with the blurry backgrounds, though it is a bit of a repetitive layout in your pictures.

I feel your compositioning with these pictures need more variation.
3 of the 5 pictures shown are of the same assymetrical, emphasis to the left, blurred background concept; you need to switch it up more, don't be stale.

Here's some insight on rules of composing your pictures.

Yeah, I do recognize some of the rules and the 1-3 and 5th photo are from last year. So I didn't really know about the 10 photography rules. I just learned about the 3x3 rule and the balance/depth rule 2 days ago by a photographer. Thanks for the tips and yes, the photos are really repetitive and I never noticed it til now. xD

Thanks for the CnC so far! [ Especially that link, Xero. Should help quite a lot. ]

You seem to be a little to focused on focus dude
Try to widen your horizons.
Maybe take some pictures of horizons?

AH! THAT JUST GAVE ME THE BEST PHOTO SCENERY! But if only I can actually get to a good location! D:

I've already planned out some shots I wanna do. The only question I ask myself is, "How am I gonna position the camera with this wall in the way?"

Even though I don't have any camera of a really good camera, I can still take really good pictures than my friends, but I don't know how to use photoshop.

Fun Fact : I don't use nor do I know how to use Photoshop. All of this was purely from a 2-3 year old phone.

i'm impressed with the results you got from a phone. however, if you're intending to get serious about photography, you will need a proper camera.

harvie you do know that CnC stands for "comments and criticism" right?

i don't think "okay" "not much" and "good" qualify as either. please put more effort in to your replies.

You shouldn't be saying that. Seriously, you shouldn't be.

You don't know how upset I am just by this post. CnC is to give comments on you like and critique on what should be fixed. But, CnC isn't always based on facts alone. It can be based on opinions. Mainly CnC is surrounded on the basis of opinion. With your kind of behavior on these people's CnC just made you look like you're the king of photography. Don't ever comment on anything like this or you'll be very faced down upon.

I think the quality of the phone camera is surprisingly good. I do think you just need to draw more inspiration and get a little more creative with your shots. By doing that you'll actually find some unique and intriguing shots. Maybe just a little more variety and eventually save up for a camera! All in all not bad at all though.
