My golly, I have over 500 battles under my belt (maybe 600? Can't remember) and I can't remember. Damn.

Hm. I met dae on forums, who pulled me into SoS and proceeded to tear me apart with the then-valid sw/ar on Forest. I then used the opening to beat some 1300 in 30 seconds. Good times.

Yeah, but like, this was back when sw/ar worked on med maps. I loved it.

.-. I make it work on every map size I have difficulty with shorter maps a bit but I still end up winning for the most part unless my micro goes off.

Huh, interesting. Can you explain how you compensate for the eco advantage from people that start 2 miners 1 sword?

By killing there sword and ignoring mana entirely and hold at tower whilst alternating between miner train and sword till I have 5-6 swords then build either spear and shield wall or archidons to peck his spears from a reasonable distance causing the opponent who can't see my swords to build a spear to absorb arrows costing mana and gold seeing as he purchased a miner solely for mana or moved one from gold to pray.
The sword arch stray is usually an overwhelming strat that uses minimal resources so great numbers of miners are Unnecessary. So whilst my opponent builds several spears and or albows but first buying miners to do so and prolly buying blazing bolts and hustle I simply pay for tower spawn and 2 spaces at the most along with a shadow which usually stays at base for just such the scenario where my archidons accidentally wander within range of poison spray which i am careful not to do. So in all the strat is to overwhelm and manipulate the opponent into making moves I am preempting

Oh man my first match was lost when I was really new, I actually thought the game was going to be almost exact as stick war...That's when I learned about the "cheating speartons" (Ghost) that kept spawning for some reason and I basically lost to ghost XD...

however after I that lost that, my second match ever I won by getting 5miners and a spear to cap the center and I eventually got more miners and ghost XD

Edit: In my first battle I was going to go for a mage and minion rush because I thought mages had minions and I thought that you could get the "Direct Control" :p but my plan failed from an unknown ghost XD
