Mucking around with flash, still getting used to the program as I transitioned from Pivot.

First full-body, still haven't finished shading.
Full-body Combo [WIP]

Jump Spin Kick

Combo Practice

Heavily Adam Phillips inspired.

Cool fb,but i think the trails looks wrong.
The spin kick's 2nd kick is bad.
The combo went so fast.
The splash looks weird because of the second splash.

All were awesome.

The trails for the FB one look fine. Also, saying something "looks wrong" without pointing out what's actually wrong with it, is no help to anyone. so NO. NO MORE.
Anyways, the animation flowed pretty well, but try to maintain the body proportions a little better. During his first step forward, his legs get a little large for his body. And his head like, warps during the spin, so like, don't do that.
And super props for coloring and shading, something most people are too lazy to actually do in a practice anim.

The second "kick" in the spin kick one sort of looks like him just putting his leg down. It doesn't really have much force, as the spacing is pretty much the same excluding the last frame. uhh the first one isn't bad, though it too lacks a bit of force. The movements are fine though.

The combo animation is decent. The figure does resize a bit, but you can fix that simply by concentrating more on keeping your figure consistent, and practicing a bunch. I quite like the first spin kick.

Don't listen to what Hitsu said about the second splash or whatever. There's an actual name for that second splash thing, but yeah. It actually happens, so including it is perfectly ok. I think the main problem with your splash is the way you handle the droplets. They all climax and fall at the same time, making the splash seem more artificial and choreographed than it should. Change up the speed and distance of each particle as the splash progresses. Doing so makes shit look nicer.
I cut something I made and slowed it down juustt for youuuu: http://www.filz.us/view/e226f1fa-5f1/

I'm not saying it's a perfect example, I was a bit rusty when I made it, but you can still see how each little circle shit is moving different to the others. Generally makes everything look nice. And this can be applied to anything that has particles: blood, water, dust, debris, w/e. So it's good to know. Also, props for coloring.

Overall goodjob; practice some more, I can see the potential WITHIN YOU.

yoyoyo, critique up in hur!
the lower body of the character you were animating kind of resized around the knee caps and calves. I suggest that you don't exagerate the movement of it being closer to the camera, and don't resize.
The spin kick was really well done, I think you understood it. But it didn't seem like it was a kick, just because the way the foot landed, idk but it looked a little too slow to be a kick, and if it was the kick wasn't really centered around making the foot go fast.
The rest I can't really critique, because idk if it's your style or just a habit of movements. But it's interesting and that's chill.

Oh cool, thanks for the awesome feedback especially from you Neon - really appreciate it.

Yeah the spin kick is really only 1 kick and the 2nd part is just placing the leg back down on landing but it felt a bit empty not having a sound there so I added a second whoosh which in hindsight ruined it.

Anyways these here are 4 of 5 of my first flashes so a lot of resizing is to be expected I guess, kind of hard to get used since it has never really been an issue with pivot. I'll try finish off the shading on the combo (I know it's pretty inconsistent and shitty but worth a shot anyways) and finish animating the splash, next attempt I'll time the particles better!
